Nico woke when his alarm clock rang. Today was the first day of his 10th grade year at Olympus High. Groaning, he got up and prepared his morning ritual. Shower, brush teeth, get dressed in all black. Collecting his leather jacket from his closet he made his way down to the kitchen. When he entered he found his family at the table, meaning he was the last one down, again. All conversation stopped, and Nico forced himself not to roll his eyes. Grabbing four apples, he stuffed three in his bag and grabbed a bottle of water. Snatching the keys to his bike 'Tanterous' he left without saying goodbye to his family. Driving to school, Nico immediatley hid his bike and walked to a hidden part on the side of the school. There was a door that led to an abandoned hallway, which connected to the science hall in the back. Since most of his classes were in the back anyway, the door solved his problems so he was never late. On top, since the hallway was abandoned he could hide out during free period alone. There was 10 minutes until class started, so Nico pulled out his smokes. His parents had always told him not to smoke, but it was a habbit he'd picked up on. 5 minutes before class started, he put out his smoke and prepared for another horrible day.

The door to the di Angelo mansion rattled shut as Nico slammed it. School fucking sucked. First, some blond bitch spilled juice on his jacket, dumb jocks cornered him, trying to beat him up(they ended up with black eyes and broken noses though) he'd been late to 4 of his classes, and fell asleep in the rest of them. Shutting the door to his room cause he didn't feel like slamming it, he opened his phone and texted Percy. ^Hey Perce^ *Hey Neeks what's up?.* ^Can I come by, school sucked and I need to get away^ *Remember, I've got a project with Wise-girl on the planets.* ^Ik, but can I come, we don't have to do anything nd u kno I can help^ *Sure love come on over* Nico smiled softly, Percy always let Nico come over to his apartment when things got to much for him. It was 5:30 and a 7 minute dive on Tanterous. Nico ran to the front door and paused, turning around he walked into the kitchen to lean on the door frame. "Can I go see him?" Hades, Maria, Bianca and Hazel shared a look. They all knew that when Nico wanted to visit Percy, but he never asked, he usually just left. "Yes, just please be home by 10:30." Hades told him, and Nico looked at him like he'd been hit by a car. Finally, Nico smiled, it was a small smile, but it made his face light up. "Ok, thank you." and then he was gone. Maria chuckled at her only son, it was clear Nico truly loved Percy, and if he did, then they supported him.

Nico knocked sharply on the door to Percy's apartment. He had a the same smile on his face that he couldn't get rid of. There was a sound of some crashing, and then Percy opened the door. Nico smiled at his older lover and hugged him. Closing the door behind him, he came face to face with Percy's friends, who, although he'd heard much about, he'd never met. "Nico this is Annabeth Chase or Wise-Girl", Percy said pointing to a girl with blond hair and stormy grey eyes that looked like Athena's(Yes he was a nerd get over it)"That's Grover Underwood, he's my best friend" said friend had short brown hair and brown eyes"That's Luke Cassitle" blond not much longer than Grover's, clear blue eyes that kinda looked like a blue crystal was shoved into his sockets. Nico noticed how he had an arm wrapped around Annabeth's waist, they were dating then. "And that's Jason and Thalia Grace." Siblings, both had dirty blond hair, eyes that were as blue as the sky. Not the crystal blue of Luke's but a close second. Other than that they looked completly different, only sharing the same nose. "So your the famous Nico!" Jason yelled, "Yeah, we've heard so much about you, like he never stops talking about you until we tape his mouth shut, but we were starting to think you were just another of Percy's imaginary friends." added Thalia with a grin.
