Christmas vibes

" Mommy , mommy "! My four year old daughters says coming thru door, running towards me with her arms wide open. I bent down and gave her a hug.

She just came back from the mall with Nate. I took off her hat, scarf, and her jacket. Nate shut the door. " How was the mall"? I asked them. " Packed ". They both said at the same time. I laughed. " It was so full. I don't know why everyone saves their shopping for last minute". Nate says with an attitude.

I rolled my eyes and laughed because he did the exact same thing.

" Mommy we got you a-" Nate puts his hand over her mouth.

" Aaliyah remember it's a secret. She has too open it on Christmas Day".

I bit my lip. Today is the day before Christmas Eve. Tmr Nate's family and my family are coming over. I was beyond nervous because I'm cooking most of the food, and I have too make sure everything's perfect and I'm super clumsy. I'm afraid that I'll mess something up.

I snapped out of my thoughts. " Come on Aaliyah let's go upstairs and wrap mommas presents".

I smiled apparently it was more then one present. He winked at me, signaling that's a cue to finish wrapping Aaliyah's presents.

I wrapped the beginning up already, witch was the stuff I got her, an American girl doll, that looks exactly like her, an iPad mini, clothes from ' The Children's Place' , a Mini mouse play tent, and a drawing of her that was done by a professional artist.

The rest I had too wrap up was what mate brought her , a collection of a book series for her level, a pair of nikes, a pair of vans, Legos, and a double sided easel board. I'm sure she is going too love all of these gifts.

I also wrapped Nate's gifts. I got him a gold chain, sweat pants, A picture of us when we first began dating in a picture frame. (we're married now), a pair of sneakers, a jersey from his favorite basketball team, specifically signed for him from his favorite player, a new Ps4 ( since I kinda threw his old one out 😂🙄) , a pair of gold Beats by Dr.Dre, and I got him a onesie. He surprisingly likes them and looks super adorable in them.

As I was wrapping the gifts I heard laughter a coming from upstairs. Aaliyah's laugh was the cutest, it was unbelievable.

I put the last gift under the tree and Nate and Aaliyah came down with a ton of wrapped gifts. " all done ". I said.

He put them under the tree, along with the gifts we got For Sammy, Johnson, and Gilinsky, siblings, parents, aunts and uncles. Aaliyah picked all of them.

" Mommy we have too make cookies for Santa". She said with her eyes opened wide.
" Isn't it tomor-"
Nate cut me off.
" Just help her make the cookies". I rolled my eyes we went into the kitchen. Aaliyah took out the cookie dough and Nate got out the cookie cutters.
