Isabella's POV:
Saturday.
When I opened my eyes, I was in Adrian's arms again. Two mornings in a row. Wow. I looked around to see everyone sprawled around the living room floor before I heard sizzling.
I gently and carefully untangled myself from Adrian's hold while making sure he was still asleep before heading over to the kitchen to see Seth cooking breakfast for everyone. I smiled before helping him.
"Thanks Isa, sleep good?" He whispered, I nodded.
"So, Adrian. He seems to be...very present and I don't know how to put it." He confessed scratching the back of his neck.
He doesn't like me in that way Seth. Now, move over. I told him in sign language.
"Yeah right, you gotta remember who taught you how to cook Isa." He joked, I silently laughed before he moved allowing me to get the eggs.
We cooked in silence for a little bit before he broke it.
"Isa, you know you don't have you hide your body from people. You're beautiful and there's hot weather here." He said softly,
I don't want anyone to see. I admitted,
"You shouldn't hide yourself, show it with pride." He tried,
Pride? There is no pride in what happened.
"There's pride in surviving, you survived Isa. You beat it. You beat him." His voice laced with concern and persuasiveness.
I shouldn't have been the only one who survived. I pointed out,
"You know none of it was your fault." He sighed, his voice full of sympathy.
But it was. I was one hundred percent accountable for everything, it was on me and I would have to live with that forever.
I forced a smile and nodded before we went back to cooking.
"You haven't been treated badly since being here, right?" He suddenly asked, I shook my head while furrowing my eyebrows.
I couldn't tell him yes, he would grab my dad's shot gun. Besides Adrian kept them off my back.
"Good, I don't want anyone thinking they can make fun of you 'cause you're mute." I silently scoffed at his protectiveness and pecked his cheek as a thank you before waking everyone up for food.

Since we got the weekend, what do you want to do? I asked Seth on my white board as we drove around in Adrian's car.
"If you guys want brother and sister time, I could just drop you off and pick you up later. Princess, you could give me your number." Adrian said,
"Princess?" Seth asked,
"Lupe said the same thing. It's just a nickname I gave her." Adrian laughed,
I don't have a phone. I wrote,
"You're seventeen and you don't have a phone princess?" He asked in disbelief, I shook my head.
"Just invite everyone and we can all hang out. I'm gonna be here for a week anyways, so I got plenty of time to spend with Isa." Seth said,
My face fell slightly at the thought of Seth going back to North Carolina. I wanted him to stay, all my life I've been so inseparable with him and now we live in different states. It was hard being without him all the time.
