-Chapter 9-
*Harry's POV*
I heard her speaking to me in her soft voice. And I could feel her hands shaking on my chest.
She leant down, and laid her head on my chest. I heard her sniffle, and take in a couple if sharp breaths.
Is she crying over me? Why would she?
I relaxed in this moment, seeing how vulnerable she was. She usually has this wall up around her, and doesn't let anyone see any of the cracks.
Reaching my hand up blindly, I brushed the back of her head. She gasped slightly, and shot upright.
"Harry?" She asked. I opened my eyes slightly, adjusting them to the light. Taking a deep breath, I spoke.
"Hey love." Was all I said. I thought that something casual would work better in a situation like this.
I met her eyes and she blinked, almost disbelievingly. She broke our gaze and looked at my bloodied shirt.
"We need to get you to a hospital!" She said, moving to get up and get the telephone. I grabbed her wrist and held her down.
"No, don't. I'll be okay." I knew that I would be. Even though the bullet grazed my heart, it was already in the healing process.
I sat up from Hales lap, and rolled onto my knees, pushing against the hardwood floor to get myself up.
"What are you..." She started, but didn't finish. Most likely amazed that I was even standing.
I looked at her small sitting figure. She was sitting on her knees, legs neatly folded under her. Even though she just saw something horrible, she sat with her hands neatly folded on her lap, covered in blood.
Her hair was tangled a bit, but still fell over her shoulders in a big waterfall of waves. Her light blue jeans were soaked in blood from the knees down. And her royal blue shirt had spots of blood on it.
Just blood. Blood covered her. But even though, she still looked beautiful.
"You're covered in blood." I simply stated. She just stared at me, mouth a little ajar.
"You got shot! Are you even all right?" She said a little loudly, looking at me disbelievingly.
The feeling of sticky blood on my shirt was getting annoying, the smell just as much. So I peeled my shirt over my head.
I saw Hale quickly look away, and I had to bite the inside of my lip to keep from laughing. She was so innocent.
"Just a flesh wound. See?" I pointed at the hole that was near my heart. She should believe that it's a flesh wound, even though it pierced my heart.
Due to the angle that the bullet entered my body, it hit my heart. But it entered at the top left of my chest, so it doesn't look bad.
I would never tell Hale that it hit my heart though. I'm already on the edge of healing anyways.
But of course she had to notice that blood had been seeping out of mouth.
"But the blood... Your mouth was bleeding..." She said quietly, almost as if to herself.
I had to lie to cover this up. "Probably happened when I fell." I stated. "Let's get you cleaned up." I said as I grabbed her hand, and led her to the bathroom.
Once we arrived, I turned and picked her up by the waist. She tried to resist, letting out a small "Hey-" but I just set her on the counter gently.
