"She is really getting on my nerves, Sassa. Una, binibigyan ko siya ng chance para maging okay ulit kami and guess what? Ayaw niya! Hindi daw pwede at masaya daw siya doon!" galit na sabi ni Rona habang nakaupo sa pagitan namin ni Charlyn.

I should be mad because she interrupted me. Nagbabasa ako and I hate it when people talk to me as if they couldn't see that I am busy. But since she's pissed, I closed my book and stared at her.

"Hindi naman talaga pwede, tito sent her there." I said

"We can ask tito to bring her back here." sabi niya

This girl.. Mabait si Rona. Hindi siya madaling makaclose but once na nakaclose mo, mabait talaga siya. Kahit mataray siya, it's obvious that she cares. Nakakainis lang siya minsan dahil hindi gaanong bukas ang pag-iisip niya sa mga bagay-bagay.

"Hindi ganun kadali yun eh..Siguradong hindi papayag yung impaktang si Lorraine na bumalik dito si Daphnie." komento ni Charlyn

"The hell I care with Lorraine? Ugh, ang sama talaga ng loob ko. Ganun ba tayo kabilis palitan sa buhay niya? Mas pinili niya pa mga lalaking yun.."

"Hindi niya tayo pinalitan, she just let new people enter her life. Hindi sa atin iikot ang buhay niya, Rona. Why don't you let her explore and enjoy life? Our friend needs happiness, Newton is her home and happiness. Why don't you just be happy for her?"

"Point taken." Charlyn whispered

Rona remained quiet. Sigurado ako, napaisip yan. Good for her.

I stood up and left the room when my phone rang.

"Yes, hello?"

"Daniel.."

[Is it difficult to say that you miss me too?]

Napapikit ako kasabay ng pag-angat ng gilid ng labi ko, "I....."

[I?] tanong niya, nag-aabang.

"I....am fine. Ikaw?"

I like him and I can feel that he likes me too. I don't want to assume things so I didn't do any first move. Noong pumunta sila sa burol ni daddy, I told him that I won't stay in Clifton Academy anymore. He just remained silent but I know he's disappointed. After few days, he called, asking me to meet him. And there, we met and he confessed his feelings and I also did. He is courting me now for about 1 week? Balak ko siyang sagutin sa birthday niya.

"Huwag na magtampo. I miss you too.. Happy?"

[More than happy, Sassa..]

"Mmkay.."

Daphnie's voice filled the background [Is that Sassa? Pakausap, ples---Ayaw ko nga, minsan ko lang makausap si Sassa eh. Alis dito Daphnie. Shoo.]

Natawa ako sa sagot ni Daniel sa kanya. This guy. Haha. We barely talk. Hindi kami tipo ng laging magkatext o magkausap. We're both busy with our lives so we really do understand each other. Walang problema sa amin yun. What important is our feelings are mutual.
