He was scared, and nervous, about attending Alternia's new high school. Well, he used to go to Alternia's school. Now he was on Earth, along with all of his other classmates. He and his moirail, Cronus Ampora, decided to find a hive together. They had planned this since they were basically wrigglers.

"Cronus!" Kankri yelled through the house, rushing down the stair with his favorite beanie on and red sweater. He found Cronus downstairs in the living room. He sighed, shaking his head to see he was actually sleeping on the couch. He went over, pushing Cronus over and onto the floor. "Up, Cronus! We're going to see Mituna and Kurloz. Remember?" Kankri rushed to the door, "I'll just meet you there! You better not disappoint me!" and with that, Kankri was out the door. He quickly rushed down the porch, headed to the park. The air was cold, snow blanketing the ground around them. It laid in the trees, against the leaves. Kankri smiled at the scenery. He then quickly got back on track, running to the park to meet up with his friends.

"Kankri'th here!" Mituna, with a lisp, said and smiled as he tugged on Kurloz's arm. Kurloz turned. He had actually removed his stitches since they got to Earth but still spoke in sign language. He smiled at Kankri as he approached. Mituna was wearing a white shirt, yellow jacket, jeans and white sneakers. Kurloz was wearing a black short sleeved shirt, jeans, and black shoes. Mituna and Kurloz didn't really try to hide their horns. Kurloz couldn't and just tells people he got them surgically put on. Mituna just says the truth, but no one believes him. Kankri sat down on a bench next to the other standing trolls, "Cronus will be here, he decided not to wake up this morning." Kankri pulled his beanie off, remembering why he didn't like wearing it now. Kurloz nodded, sitting next to Kankri. Mituna put his skateboard down, sitting on it and smiling. "I invited La.. Tu.. I invited Tulip.." He stuttered, still smiling. "Sounds interesting. Are you two officially Matesprites?" Kankri asked, looking over at Mituna. "Actually, I wath gonna ask her when she geth here." He stood, standing on his skateboard now, Kurloz immediately standing and holding Mituna up from behind so he wouldn't fall. Secretly, Kankri envied their moirallegiance. He wished him and Cronus were that way, too. He just wished Cronus was more caring and listened better. "Cronus probably isn't coming. I'm going back to the hive to talk with him. I might as well end our moirallegiance." and before Mituna or Kurloz could say anything, Kankri was off, running. He ran all the way back to his hive, suddenly stopping and tripping to avoid running into someone. "Oof!!" He fell, scratching his elbow. "Ouch.." He sat up slowly, looking up to see someone staring. He blushed with embarrassment, and then the person reached out their hand to help him. "Name's Sebastian." the kid said, Kankri taking hold of their hand. The kid was male, a bit taller than Kankri, and had black attire on. He had snow-white hair and bright orange eyes. "If you don't mind me asking," Kankri stood up slowly, "are your eyes.. real?" He tilted his head. Sebastian nodded, "Hair, too." he smiled. Kankri smiled back, nodding. "Well, my skin color and horns are real as well. I know, it isn't something a human could understand. I could sit with you and explain to you everything if you'd like me to. I'd more than happy to share my culture with you! Oh, this'll be exciting! I enjoy telling my story to people. I think most find it to be quite intere--" Kankri stopped, sighing, "I apologize for my rudeness and blabbering. My name is Kankri. Kankri Vantas." He smiled, embarrassed. Sebastian stood in confusing, nodding when he finally got a name. "I hope we meet again." Sebastian grinned, walking off the opposite way of Kankri. Kankri huffed, making his way home again.
