No matter how hard it is try to be confident.
Try to make confidence a barrier people can't break down.
How To Be Confident/ Have Self-confident.
Being confident is a process and it can be however long you want it to be. That's right it's a personal choice.
1. Point out every single insecurity that you have, every single one.
This may seem harsh or stupid but it isn't. Oh and when pointing out these please do not take it to heart or anything, this process is to help to build you not tear you down.
Now with all these insecurities or bad things you detest about youself, take them and do either one or all of the following (highly recommend all):
Go infront of a mirror and call out each insecurity and tell yourelf after each one that you aren't or don't. for example : I would have a list saying - stupid, fat stomach, huge zits. I would say infront of the mirror - I am not stupid. I don't have a fat stomach. I don't have huge zits. Say these things constantly to make them stick in your head.
Take that paper with the list of insecurities and burn them. Yes, light a matches, bonfire, God knows what and just put the list in it. Watch it burn. Make sure it is burnt. If your emotional cry while its burning.
Tear or shred that paper to pieces. You can use your paper shredder or your hands.(Using your hands actually makes it better).
2. Point out every awesome, wonderful and amazing thing about yourself.
Take that paper and like before go infront a mirror, smile and name every single one.
Say everyone of these right before you go to bed at nights and right before you wake up in the mornings. It WILL make you feel better, trust me. Keep those things in your mind as much as possible.
3. Look up every positive thing, whether on the internet or in books, just look them up.
Read everyone of them. They should up-lift your spirit and make you laugh or smile.
4. Smile
As simple as it sounds, it works. Smile whether or not your infront of a picture. You will feel elated and just joyful. You will also smile unintentionally and will grow in it. Looking pleasant is key.
Follow these as much as possible. It might take long for you or might work in weeks, point is it will work overtime and you and others will notice the difference in you.
