"Levi!" (Y/N) yelled as she looked for her best friend. She sighed and sat by the tree where they had first met. 'Gosh, where is that shorty?' She thought to her self.
As if on cue, he appeared behind her.

"Boo." He said with no emotion.

"Are you serious."

"Mhm."

"You gonna talk, Levi?"

Levi shook his head.

"Hm." (Y/N) hummed.

Levi looked into the distance.
(Y/N) stared at him and admired his looks. 'He's so..cute..' She thought. Her face flushed. 'What in the world?! He's your friend, not your crush!' Just as she was mentally slapping her self, Levi glanced her way. Her face was equal to a tomato, while his stayed pale. "The hell is wrong with you, brat?" He asked her. Her eyes widened and she slapped Levi softly on the arm. "Levi! Language," He glared at her playfully. "And I'm not a brat." She added. 'Or is he..?'

After a while, Levi sat by her. Then again, her blood rushed to her face. "Come on, (Y/N)! Snap out of it." She murmured to her self. Levi glanced her way again, only to meet her eyes.
(E/C) eyes clashed with greyish-blue ones. Neither of them looked away.

'Don't do it, (Y/N).'

"Say.. Levi,"

'Don't you dare..!'

"What?" He replied, clearly bored.

"Do you.." She continued.

'Don't.'

"Do you like anybody..?"

'Bravo, (Y/N). Now he'll think you're a weirdo and leave you like the rest. Bravo!'

"Why are you asking, brat?"

She flinched at his colder-than-usual tone. It scared her. She looked away from him and stared at her lap as if it's the most interesting thing in the world.

"I-I j-just wanna know.." She stuttered.

"Then yes, I do." He replied, looking away from her. While she on the other hand, shot her eyes up at the raven-haired male as soon as the words left his mouth.

She couldn't help but feel jealous of this girl.

Tears started to blur her vision, and she tried to blink them back. She can't show that she's weak to Levi, not today.

"O-Oh. R-Really? T-That's cool.. not that I care or anything," She let out an awkward laugh. "I b-bet she's r-really pretty.." Her voice sounded broken.

"Yeah. Saying she's pretty is an understatement. She's beautiful. Inside and out." He mused, not noticing the shaking girl beside her.

"R-Really..? H-Have I met h-her before..?" She asked, her voice cracking even more.

"Yes. Yes you have. I think you know a little bit more about her than I do." He told her.

"O-Okay.."

(Y/N) could not swallow the lump in her throat. She cleared it a bit and asked him,

"Tell me, does she look at you the way I do, trying to understand the words you say and the way you move,"

Levi looked at her and his eyes widened. She was crying.

"Does she get the same big rush, when you go in for a hug and your cheeks brush,"

He put his hand on hers and squeezed it. "(Y/N).."
She looked straight into his eyes, with tears streaming down her face.

"Tell me, am I crazy, or is this more than a crush?"

Levi's eyes softened as he answered.

"She's looking at me right now."

(Y/N) looked around and saw nobody. It was just them. She pointed at her self.

"Me..?"

Levi playfully glared at her and then hugged her.

"Of course it's you, brat."

(Y/N) hugged back tightly, never wanting to let go.

"Levi..?"

"Yes.. (Y/N)?"

"Promise me.. You'll be with me forever." She held out her pinky while still engulfed in the hug.

He smiled and locked his pinky with hers.

"I promise."
