Prologue

A/N Hello guys! This is my first fanfic so it might not be that good!

Erza's POV

I picked up my red IPhone, dialing Jellal's number. The phone rang awhile before Jellal answered with an exasperated tone.

"What?" he snapped. I bit my lip. my best friend was becoming meaner and meaner.

"I was just wondering if you could come over."  I answered.

"Fine!" he grunted. "Now BYE!" A second later, Jellal disconnected. I sighed. What was wrong with my friend?

FLASHBACK:

Me and Jellal were in the park, swinging.

"I can swing higher than you!" Jellal shouted over the roaring wind.

"No you can't" I shouted back.

We argued for a while until Jellal said, "Let's have a contest!" I agreed. We went higher and higher until...

I flew off the swings.

Seriously!? I closed my eyes, waiting for the inpact but I felt something soft. I opened my eyes.Jellal had caught me!

"As prince charming, I promise that I will always help you." whispered Jellal. "And I'll always be your friend."

FLASHBACK OVER

I sighed. Would he really be my prince charming ever again? Then I heard a ring. Jellal was here! I ran downstairs to open the door. There stood Jellal, all in one piece.

He grunted a hi, sneering. I brought him up to m room. Jellal sat down on the bed. His gang tattoo surrounded his eye like a tattoo of death. I started pulling out the games that we liked to play. Boogle, scrabble, cards, monopoly...

"I'm 11!" he shouted. "Don't you have anything besides stupid board games!? Are board games what 8 year old girlies do all day besides play with makeup and barbies?"

"That's not what girls do all day!" I argued, stomping my foot. Suddenlly, he grabbed my phone.

"Jellal! Give me my phone!" I cried.

"Come and get it!" he taunted, then he threw it out the window.

Jellal's POV

I don't like throwing phones out the window. It was just getting back for when she disrupted my romantic conversation with the hottest girl in 6th grade, Ultear Milkovich, for a call about a playdate. I said yes to shut her up, but then I realized that I'd have to show up or else she'd come over to my house and embarrass me.

When I got my hands on that girl, there would be trouble. So when she started stomping her stupid foot and arguing her stupid arguments, I just about exploded. She was lucky I didn't throw HER out the window. So I took anything in front of me, which happened to be her phone, and chucked it out the window. Who knew she'd jump out the window, trying to save her dumb red I-phone that probably woudn't have been damaged anyway.

Then I heard a scream that broke my heart. And a splat.
