Why when there is a great world out there
Do we place ourselves behind these bricks?
Why when the sun is shining
Do we hid in these dark prisons?

Why when the birds are singing
Do we block their sound by brick walls?
Why when all is cheerful out there
Do we sit and mope behind these walls?

Why with a world filled with beauty
Do we lock ourselves behind cold ugly walls?
Why when nature calls us
We read what fellow prisoners wrote?

Wonder when you lock the light out
Why you feel so down.
Wonder when you lock yourself behind walls
Why you don't sing and dance.

Wonder why life seems so dull
When you're the one who locked the sun out.
Wonder why you cant get away
When you built these brick walls around yourself.

Wonder why,
The answer is
It's your fault.
