Bright vibrant lights blinded us as we made our way up the path, my eyes had never seen such a sight but apparently Mahiru has grown accustomed to it before I ever truly met him.

"Mitsu don't you remember? Uncle always took us here." I rolled my eyes to prove my annoyance as my eyes gave him a sort of bored gaze straight into his own eyes full of enjoyment.

Shaking my head at the boy, my attention was brought to the fact of our missing cat which Mahiru also noticed resulting in his hand grasping tightly on to my wrist as he ran a certain way towards the now pale boy that was once our tiny cat, it seemed he had taken up all the food they had to offer here and I was proven correct when the brown haired boy yelled at his Servamp on how he could've done so in a few seconds.

I felt my eyes gaze around the whole place, it was so pretty. Mom and Father never took me to such a place like this, it was never really a reason why they didn't since I've never known of it there was no way to ask why we don't go.

At least I get to see it now with my new human family, strange to say that now.

Only a few minutes after just arriving Mahiru and I found ourselves sitting at the feet of the Servamp as we gazed up at the sky for long wait of the fireworks, truth be told I've never been outside while fireworks went on and just thinking about it now and how I've been raised about it doesn't that seem unsafe? To be outside right near the fireworks, they do have the word fire in them.

Then my eyes glanced upon the true definition of beauty, cotton candy was just over at the next booth of where we sat, my eyes glowed in excitement looking over towards my sort of brother for his approval in which he simply nodded my head and in that instant my legs found themselves running towards the booth.

My hand slid the money on the counter towards the nice elderly lady as she handed me two sticks of the sugary goodness although I was only supposed to receive one.

"I think that nice boy you're with would love some too." her small face gave me a cheerful smile, I grew curious to which boy she was talking about but decided it really shouldn't be questioned when I'm getting one cotton candy for free.

Instantly I began to thank her but was interrupted as she gave out the most cheerful comment but yet creepy in my mind, "he seems like a nice man, I can sense the chemistry between you two." that's when my body grew stiff and all I could do was nod my head at that comment as I began to walk off, not even able to bend my legs or arms as I did so almost looking like a penguin that can't keep its balance.

Which boy was she even talking about? It must be Mahiru since I was sitting next to him but chemistry between that boy and I? No he's just like a brother to me.. But what if she meant Kuro? Also no, he's just my pet technically and how would you ever find chemistry between me and that boy? We're polar opposites it seems.

Once I slowly had arrived back at the spot where I last seen Mahiru it seemed he went off elsewhere, my shoulders shrugged it off not really worrying for where he went especially if he didn't bring Kuro with him. My head glanced back at the lady who gave me free cotton candy to see her hand ushering me to do something, so she did mean the Servamp.

If I didn't give him this cotton candy the lady wouldn't be happy with me but if I did give him the cotton candy it'd be quite strange seeing as I do nothing nice for the boy.

Tightly clutching the other stick of cotton candy in my hand, I turned my head to face away from the boy to not see the blushing mess I probably was due to only the embarrassment of the horrible situation I was placed in, the arm holding his cotton candy launched slightly away from my body and towards him hoping he'd understand to just take it.
