I ran towards the school. I was kind of happy I lived close now. When I got there, I ran into someone. A boy. I got up and said, "I'm so sorry..." I looked up and saw him looking at me. He smiled. "No big deal. Aren't you the new girl? Elizabeth something right?" I nodded. "Mike!" A very pretty blonde girl yelled. The boy turned around and said, "Yo?" I just looked down and tightened my grip on my bag. She brushed passed him and stared at me. "You're really pretty. You're Elizabeth Stone. Correct?" She asked. "Um... Y-yes. T-that's me." I answered half smiling.
"Come with me." She grabbed my arm and pulled me into the school. "Where are we going?" I asked. "Front office." I was really scared because she seemed like the really popular girl. "D-Did I d-do something w-wrong?" She turned around releasing my arm. I just stared at her wide-eyed. "No sweety. You're just new and you need you're schedule set up." Relieved, I said, "Oh. Okay." I followed her to the office and she took me to the Principal. "She needs her schedule set up." She told the principal pointing at me. "Okay thank you Bethany. How would you like your schedule?" She asked. "Can she have the same as mine? I think we would be great friends." Bethany said smiling. "Okay. Just let me print it up for you." We waited about 5 minutes before the principal gave me my schedule. Once I got it, Bethany showed me around the school.
After she showed me around, she showed me my locker. "So this is your locker. Whats your combo?" I gave her a piece of paper that had my information on it. She quickly opened it and took my bag and set up all my stuff. "Oh. Thank you..." I said giving a forced smile. "You're welcome. I will see you in class and you will sit next to me in all of them and during lunch." She said walking off.
I had already made a new friend at my new school. It was going to be a great year.
