Guys I have something important to tell you. Brace yourself. Aliens. They exist. Look don't laugh at me. I'm telling the truth. The weird part is they don't look that different from us. They might have an extra appendage or two.

Some of their arms maybe a foot longer than the average human. But the have this cloaking thing that gives them a normal human appearance. The only difference they have  is their eye color. That never changes. Yellow, red and purple. I know pretty colors but not common in human eyes. They came over for cohabiting their planet is dying or anything they just wanted to learn more about humans up close. At first the government went crazy. Lock downs, quarantine, eye checks. But it's been five years since the first ship landed and we've gotten along pretty well. The even started and interglacial exchange program. 40 students from each country exchange with the Nevden. That's what they told us to call them. Nevlar is the name of there planet. Cool I know.

Anyway my name is Jacqueline but my friends call me Jack. There is a male in my class and not just any male. A Nevden. He keeps his cloak on but when he introduced himself he said his real form has four arms. Talk a bout an introduction. One guy in class asked him to show them off but he just ignored him. He told us to call him Tyro. Which meant Alien in some other language. Seeing as how his real name is hard to pronounce. He sits in the middle row like any normal student and answers question and turns in his work. If it wasn't for his purple eyes you wouldn't be able to tell. And that beautiful blue stone neckless around his neck. I wonder what it stands for but I know there leader had one just like it.

In class we have a group assignment. Two or more to a group. This is one of my classes where my group of five close friends aren't in. So with a sigh I wait till other people partner up to pick from whoever is left. And to my surprise Tyro is glancing around till his eyes land on me. Suddenly I feel like I'm getting sucked in. Next thing I know he is in front of me.

"Jacqueline." They way he says my name should be illegal. There is an accent there but the way he says it you think he is from a different country not a whole other planet.

I clear my throat before I answer. "Um..Yes?"

"It seems we are the only two life forms life with out a suitable pairing. Would you mind taking such a task with me?"

I quickly glance around seeing how everyone else is paired. I feel his eyes on me and I quickly turn back. "Is it such a bad choice? Paring with me Jacqueline?" I look in his eyes and I'm surprised to see humor and something else I can't but my finger on.

"Um no. I'm just not good with crowds, new people...um well living beings..?" The end came off like a question but he smirks at me. "That is fine with me. Our project assignment shall be the most excellent."

"Call me Jack please."

"Your name is Jacqueline is it not?" He look confused I'm sure. "Yes it is Jack is a nickname."

"Oh. Humans shorten things a lot, yes?"

"Yes that we do."

As the weeks went by and we got along much better. Tyro was a good partner, funny and smart of course. I grew to like him in away my friends had fun when we all hung out and they are hard to please. On the day our project is due I'm a little nervous. Tyro notices of course and shoots me an encouraging smile. I smile back even though I don't feel as I am projecting.

Once done and we receive the grade (the highest in the class) and Tyro want to go out and celebrate. I ask if I can invite my gang, "No. Just the two of us. I want to show you some thing."

"Okay."

Taking a ride and we pull up to what can only be described as an Alien motor home camp..?  Only five ships and they are all spaced out from each other. "Come inside?" He asks me and with a glance at his face and those beautiful purple eyes I agree. "I must give warning to you." He tells me as we stop by the door. "My cloak times out once I am home."

"So I'll get to see what you really look like?" I say curious more than anything.

"Yes. My true form. Not many on my planet look as I." He looks almost worried. I grab his hand in comfort.

"Don't worry. I won't turn away from you. It doesn't hurt right?" I ask concerned. He laughs at my questioning.

"No. It doesn't not hurt. Think of a coat being taken off after a long period. It is some what like that."

"Okay." We turn around and he puts his hand on the side of the ship. It glows under it and the door moves open. We walk in and I am amazed by all the colors and light. It look like any old house just with lights as walls and a motion sensor floor. "Wow this is beautiful!" I turn to Tyro and actually take him in. His skin has a purple hue and his other arms are showing. They look the same as the others covered in his long sleeve sweater. Still the same jeans and neckless that is glowing as well.  His eyes seem a deeper purple as he stares into mine. "Jacqueline?"

"Yes?"

"Is somethings wrong?" I shake my head. Reaching my hand up to touch his cheek. His skins still feels the same much warmer than mine like always. I never thought he could look more beautiful. "Beautiful." I whisper to him. I think he blushes for his cheeks or violet.

"Not many say such words on Nevlar."

"Why not?" I ask my head tilted to the side in question.

"It is not common to have skin the same as eye pigment. Not for my bloodline at least."

"Bloodline?" He grabs the stone around his neck. "You see the same on leader of Nevlar, correct?" I nodded in reply.

"He is what you call 'grandfather' to me." I open my eyes wide. "And leader bloodline is like what humans call 'King." Omg I know royalty. Alien Royalty!

"So your next in line? Or is it your father?" I ask him. He grabs my other hand that isn't on his cheek. "I am not in line for such potions. Father is next then brother will take. I have freedom to do what I please." He smiles at me and suddenly the air changes.

He tells me a word I don't understand. In his language I'm pretty sure. "What does that mean?"

"No direct translation to English but closest definition is, an intense feeling of deep affection. Or the emotion associated with the chemical phenylethylamine."

I giggle at him. Of course he would explain it in such away. "Tyro."

"Yes?"

"The correct word is 'love'." I smile at him and left up to kiss his lips. He wraps his arms around me. It's the best hug I have ever gotten.

"I love you too." I say into his chest. He starts to kiss me down my neck letting me know that he heard me and I pull away. "Hey there I know they don't know if our species can reproduce but I'm not trying to give the government an answer." He laughs at me and lifts me up. Carrying me off. "Don't laugh at me."

"Oh trust me little Jackie. I plan on finding out." By the heated look in his purple hues I believe I'm in for one long night.
