Grace POV*
The clouds are particularly windy today. I like it. It gives a better possibility for rain. Water. I looked up to the sky hoping to see the rain droplets forming, instead I stared into a young boy around my age grinning down at me. I instantly looked down, I listened as I heard him shuffle to the front of me causing me to cringe back slightly. Peeking through the curtain of my hair I sneaked a glance at him he saw me looking at him and grinning again, showing his cute dimples.
He bent down to my level so he could look up at me through my hair. My eyes widen as I stared back into his emerald green eyes. I was about to take a step back when he grabbed my hand.
"Hey, what's wrong?" he asked me as I felt tears brimming from my eyes. I shook my head. He stared at me for a moment longer while I looked at my bare foots covered in scratches...they never gave me shoes, my old one don't fit anymore.
I felt someone's hand on my chin and instantly looked up, emerald eyes. Him again, why won't he go? He lifted his hand again and on instinct I flinched away. The blow never came. I looked up to see his bright smile that was there only seconds ago gone. He backed away from me and stood up, I looked backed down.
Suddenly I felt two hands around my head forcing me to look up. I looked up to see girls crying and men in black suits walking around with sticky notes between the rows of girls....wha? I turned to the side when I felt his presence.
"Look girl, he's here" he said as he pointed to a man further away from us, next to my father. I turned to him fully this time, I think I can trust him. Evidently he noticed, his smile instantly returned. "Watch and wait for your turn" he said as he stood beside me.
I watched what was happening before me....the men in black, buff looking guys. They were sticking sticky notes on girls and dragging others to see the man glaring at my father. Everything is very amusing. I wanted some sticky notes.....I want to stick things to people too. I turned towards Froggy looking him up and down as he watched me wearily. Froggy guy looks pretty cute I thought as I smiled to myself.
"Ha" he yelled causing me to jump in his sudden outburst, everyone turned towards us "You smiled" he said as he pointed to me. Damn, I wasn't meant to smile in public. I quickly made my face blank again, by now everyone had turned back to whatever they were doing.
"You smiled, I know you did. I saw it with my two eyes" he stated as he stuck his nose in the air. I saw colourful pads in his suit pocket, sticky note pads. He saw me eyeing it and handed it over.
"Here you can have it. We're meant to stick it on the girls that we think are suitable in colour coordination" he sent a glance behind him "Besides looks like the others have already got most of them". He placed the sticky notes in my hands as I eyed the bright colours they had.
Slowly I started to rip them off the pad and stick them on his suit. This is fun I thought as I made patterns on him. I giggled as I stuck a few on his forehead and check causing him to grin and frown at the same time. I started to stray from my spot and walk off.
"Hey you shouldn't ___" he was cut off as I was already sticking sticky notes to people that I walked past. Of course they didn't notice. Being stealthy is what I'm good at (>_<) This is very fun.
I kept walking and unconsciously did I know that I was following the minty smell in the air. I reached a solid wall and started to rip hot pink sticky notes off the pad and stick it on...it was the last colour I had don't judge.
Suddenly the wall moved away from me and a loud voice growled.
"What do you think you're doing?"
