Chapter 1: The Madness is Within Me

ADD P.O.V

I can't recall the events that followed after my merging with the DarkEl, only a searing pain as the DarlEl shard that hung around my neck as it merged with my very being. Intense pain and the sound of laughing that was similar to my own, except it was filled with rage, remorse and despair.

My entire body feels heavy, every muscle aches, and I taste blood in my mouth, slowly opening my eyes I scan my surroundings, I'm in a room, it's a fairly decent size, there was a door to my far left, most likely the entrance into a hallway, and another on my right, a bathroom. Sitting up I feel my heart sink. My dynamos!! where were they?! jumping out of the bed I rush over to a desk that was propped up against the north wall. Sighing with relief  I see my black diamond shaped dynamos. Activating them I watch as they float in the air for a moment before circling behind me. The bathroom door opens and a girl with magnificent crimson hair walks out with a first-aid kit in her hands, our eyes meet and I feel a lump in my throat, her eyes were a bright amber color void of any emotion except bloodlust. She walks over to me and with each of her steps the air seems to become colder, what should I do? Is she the one that brought me here? if so, why? hundreds of thoughts and their outcomes pound inside my mind " you should lie back down" her voice, like her eyes were void of any type of emotion.

Snapping myself out of it by shaking my head I look down at the girl and study her features, for some reason I can't help but feel as if I saw her before, but where? " kukuku..I'm fine" I respond laughing mechanically. The girl nods and places the first-aid kit on the desk " Elesis." she said looking back at me " what?" " Elesis. my name is Elesis"

"......" I stay silent for a moment as I say her name in my head, it felt so familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on it. "Add." I respond crossing my arms " my name is Add."
