He sits in his car and shuts the door with a loud thump. Could he be any more angry? His company faced a loss today and it was a major one. He couldn't pin down his anger one person though. Whether it was because of him that the company faced a loss? Or because his father just had to give the whole company to him for handling that he stopped living his life?
The scowl on his face remains prominent as he drives on the empty freeway. His fingers hit the button to start the radio, an attempt to distract him.
"So you think you're lonely, but you're not." A deep voice, probably of a girl fills the silence. Suddenly she starts giggling and as soon as the sound cuts through the silence, Harry's face breaks into a grin.
"That was not even scary. Hello my night owls this is Paige Anderson coming to you with the best late night show in the city. Hope you sty tuned in and don't fall asleep because come on, I'm not that boring now, am I?"
Her voice goes on and on and on and on but Harry doesn't want her to stop. He wants her to continue speaking the way she is doing and never stop till he dies. He doesn't have any idea how he is suddenly so captivated by her voice or how he has never heard such an angelic voice ever, but for now, as she speaks something that is music to his ears, he doesn't care.
For once, he doesn't care. All he knows, is that she is the reason for his smile after a long hard day. All he knows is that her voice is absolutely beautiful and that he never wants her to stop.
All he knows, is that he is never going to stop listening to her late night rambles. That, if they even are rambles because all he feels is utter bliss and all he hears is a melodious voice.
