Sarah was a 15 year old girl, her family recently moved house. The house was vast and old, the floor boards creaked, and the lights flickered. "I hate this place its old, cold and ugly. I liked our old house i have no friends and this place is practically in the middle of no where! Sarah shouted. "oh calm down Sarah, stop being ridiculous you know why we had to move" her mom replied " Yes, i know because dad got a new job" Sarah snapped. " Well then stop complaining and help me, take those boxes down to the basement " her mom sighed. Sarah gave her mom an evil look and picked up the boxes, she made her way down the creaking stairs and came to a old worn away door. She slowly opened the door, the room was airy and was coated in cobwebs. " This is disgusting " Sarah moaned. Sarah placed the boxes on a shelf, she snooped around and in a corner of the room she saw a dark black figure. Sarah gasped and sprinted up the stairs. "Mom"! Sarah screamed with her hand on her head. " What "! her mom shouted. " There's a g..ghost in the basement, it was black and i saw it breathing! " Sarah bellowed in fright." Don't be stupid i bet its just a coat or something " her mom said angrily " Just get out my sight Sarah, your being childish if you don't want to help me then just go to your room and unpack your stuff "! her mom bellowed. " fine" Sarah screamed. Sarah lugged herself up to her room and jumped on her bed and let out a long sigh, she grabbed a holy bible and began reading 'the book of psalm'. She read the 23rd psalm that read "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me". She closed the bible and slowly drifted to sleep, she was suddenly awoken by a tapping noise, " Whats that" Sarah gasped. She emerged from her bed to examine where the noise was coming from. "huh... it isn't even dark yet" Sarah said confusingly. " Of course not Sarah it's only 4pm, you fell asleep 2hours ago, but anyway i was supposed to come wake you up, because dinner is ready " said Sarah's little brother Tom. " Wait Tom did you hear that tapping noise "? Sarah said intriguingly walking down the stairs with Tom. " What noise? i heard no noise " Tom said worriedly.
