"What kind of sick joke is this? If you don't like me, then just tell me. Don't make up some stupid excuse," he said with a huff.
I felt my heart rip.
Should I continue to tell him the truth?
Or should I just let him think I'm a psycho, and be done with it?
The rain fell all down my white blouse, and and made it's way to my heart, dampening my insides.
"Please come with me," I cried,"I want to explain."
"Explain what? You've said enough." Aaron shook his head.
"You need to know the truth," I said, "I DO love you."
"Lies. I'm sick of it, Jeanette. Who are you, really?" he said, turning around.
I bit my lip.
"I am Jeanette McLough. I am student body president of Lamia Academy. I died when I was 17 years old. I am now a resident of the native Lamia island." I said, taking a deep breath.
"And I am a Vampire. A vampire who has broken the Lamia Code. I have fallen in love with a werewolf." I screamed, over the buzz of the busy city.
He turned back around, looking into my eyes.
"Really?" he asked.
"Really." I answered,"Sorry."
"Come back to the apartment, I want to explain," I said breathlessly.
I felt the rain soaking up every emotion on my limp body.
"Please." I said weakly.
He looked at me with a deep expression, as a raindrop rolled down his chiseled face.
He brought his hand up to my face, lightly tapping my cheek.
And we kissed.

I sat in her apartment.
I was super wet, and so was she.
We sat on the couch beside each other for comfort.
"So a vampire?" I asked, "Alpha will kill me."
"You don't have to stay. I just thought that the truth would clear things up," I paused, "Do you think it's weird?"
"Weird?" I laughed, "I'm a werewolf."
There was a silence.
"Do you really drink blood?" I wondered.
"Yes. We don't have to, though. It's just like a rare food. But I've learned to resist it. However, we can blood let, which means we draw a little bit of blood without killing, and that person becomes bound to us for life. Kind of like a pet." she laughed.
"Just call me your little wolf," I smiled, kissing her softly.
"What will we tell the people on the island? You know this is forbidden," she paused.
"We won't tell them anything. We can stay here and live a life together in America." I smiled.
So there we sat, the whole night, watching cheesy movies together on the couch. I knew this was wrong, but then again, I loved Jeanette, and that was the only thing that was right.
"So, will you live with me?" she asked, during the commercials of The Breakfast Club.
"Always," I smiled, "I love you."
And with that, she nestled in my chest and fell asleep.
I would have to put all of this 'forbidden' stuff in the back of my head.
For now.
