Tonight is the unluckiest snowy night of 1843 in Whitechapel, England. The fate of misfortune has fallen upon us. Crime rates have soared through the roof. Citizens have given up of living a peaceful life in this hellhole of a dump. Innocent people have disappeared without a trace. While people were in low hopes of staying alive, a famous, highly respected investigator has come to solve previous cold cases and prevent future crimes from happening. Investigator Crawford has come to join the Scotland Yard and solved many cold cases in a short period of time. But then...

Later on the same night, a mysterious caller reports a crime that happened not too long. The officer started writing everything that the caller mentioned to him about the crime and gives it to the Head of Scotland Yard, Harris, to decide who will be the one to solve this case.

"Crawford. Would you please come to my office?" Harris asks.

"Sure thing. I'll be there in a minute," Crawford answers back.

Crawford anxiously walks to Harris' office as the staff stared at him with envious looks. He then opens the door slowly, expecting maybe something bad is going to happen to him.

"Come in and have a seat, Crawford," Harris says as he points to the chair in front of his desk.

Crawford sits in the chair while shaking nervously.

"Now, Crawford. For the case that had been reported earlier, I have decided that you'll be the one to bring upon justice to the victim's family. I believe that you'll be able to solve this case with your magnificent skills. Dismissed," Harris kindly explained.

Crawford leaves the room with a bow and instantly gets started on solving this crime to stop and prevent this horror from repeating itself in different variations of crime.

"Hmm...I shall call upon an assistant to help me with this. Might call on the old friend, Officer Maythem. We were literally the best duo out of all the others." Crawford wryly laughed.

Maythem and Crawford were best friends who worked together in their old jobs until they were separated since Crawford had to join the Scotland Yard for some time. Unbeknownst to Crawford, Maythem had already been working in the Scotland Yard as a part time receptionist. Whenever they would see each other at any point in time, they would do their secret handshake.

"Maythem!" Crawford shouted.

"Anyone know where Maythem is?" Crawford asked the staff.

"Probably out in the back over there," one of the staff replied.

"'Kay. Thanks," Crawford replied and walks to the back door.

He opens it and finds Maythem fixing some things.

"Maythem! It's good to see you alive and well again! How've you been doing?" Crawford asks.

"I've never been better. Good to see you again too old friend!' Maythem replies as he and Crawford do their secret handshake.

"Listen. Harris asked me to be the one to solve this case. I thought to myself that I wouldn't be able to do it alone, so basically, will you be my partner?" Crawford proudly asked.

"Of course I will!" Maythem quickly answered back.

"Okay. I'll meet you a bit later in my office. See ya lad," Crawford casually ended the conversation.

About an hour later at precisely 8:30pm, Maythem walks to Crawford's office to begin their discussion about the crime that had been reported earlier. They both have a short discussion and they decide to visit the crime scene. Before they left the building, they packed some tools to use: A camera, magnifying class, and some containers in their bags. When they arrived there, many patrol officers pushed as much of the crowd away as possible to prevent disruption of the evidence presented.
