Hey girl open the walls play with your dolls, we'll be a perfect family

"Stop! Please! I'll be good!"
The girl cried out. However, it was all in vain..

When you walk away that's when we really play

"Bye! I'll come play with you later!" The girl yelled cheerfully to her bestfriend. She turns around. Her face darkens.
"I don't want to go home."
A tear rolls down her cheek.

No one ever listens this wall paper glistens, don't let them see what goes down in the kitchen...

Everyday she'd come to school with new bruises. She shook off every look made of pity and acted like nothing happens behind her walls. Waiting desperately for someone to break in and save her.
"Hey! What's up?"
"Nothing.." She'd always answer with a voice above a whisper.
She was broken.

Places, places get in your places, throw on your dress and put on your doll faces. Everyone thinks that we're perfect, please don't let them look through the curtains.

"Stop."
She watched her younger brother look at her with a disgusted expression.
"Don't even try."
She watched her father walk out the door with a women that wasn't her mother.
She watched her mom passed out on the couch
She watched her world slowly slip away from her grasp

Why me?

Picture, picture smile for the picture pose with your brother, won't you be a good sister?

She smiled.
So people will think she's happy.
She smiled so people won't notice how much she's suffering. However, something or someone was bound to break down those walls.
"Are you okay?"
Those 3 words she waited for were more than enough to bring her to tears.
"No.."
Her knees buckled and before she knew it she was being embraced with warm, welcoming arms.

"I know.."

(Then she died :3 jk)
