Evan's Visit Part 2

Mia's POV
After school that day, of course as usual Abby came to pick me up. I planned on sitting in the back seat when I got into the car because I thought Evan would be sitting in the front. "Hey!" Abby said with a huge smile across her face. "How was your day?" Abby was acting.. Strange. "Uh, it was fine. As usual." I decided not to tell her about Jordan just yet. "Umm... Where is he?" I was curious. Weird. "Oh well uh, you see I kinda, wanted to get him when you were with me." Ugh why?? Why does she was me? "Oh. But why?" She knew I didn't want to see him. "Well he has something for you that's kinda important and he wanted to give it to you as soon as possible. I wasn't supposed to tell you this, but I know what goes on in that little head of yours. Don't tell him I told you. He'll be disappointed." I wonder what it could be. Evan giving me something? Hmm...

Mia's POV
After our little conversation, I just put in my ear buds and listened to some music. It took about an hour to get there at the airport. It's a while from school and even longer from our house. I feel bad for Abby. She has to do all of this driving with no help. Do you ever get tired of going back and fourth all the time? I'll find out when I start driving. Which won't be long.

Abby's POV
While we were driving to the airport, I could tell something was going through Mia's mind. I knew she didn't wanna do this but she has no choice. Evan really is not a bad person at all. She just always finds a way too be against someone. About that gift.. I kinda knew what it was. But I wasn't quite sure..

Mia's POV
We finally arrived at the airport. And when we did, we saw Evan sitting there on his phone. Oh what a nice way too greet someone! Abby got out of the car, opened the trunk, and told me to put my phone down and to follow her. I did as told, and just slipped my phone into my pocket. I was having a conversation with Emily. I forgot to tell her that I had to leave, so the whole time my phone was vibrating in my pocket.
Abby sure was right. He has changed a lot. He was actually kinda cute in my opinion. But I wasn't going to date my dad!?! That's insane!?!
When I got out, we walks sober to Evan. "So sorry to keep you waiting so long. I had to get Mia." He looked up to see Abby's tall beautiful appearance. "Oh my gosh! You two are beautiful! You Guys have changed so much since I last saw you!" I will admit, he was very kind to us. Weird.. "Oh Jee thanks dad." Dad. Dad. Did she seriously just say dad? Oh my gosh.
Abby nudged my shoulder as a sign of saying "say something!"
"Oh hi." That's all I could say. Weird. But hey, at least he got that. "Hello Mia. It's so good to see you again. I haven't seen you since you were, what? Like 3 or something?" Did he seriously just say 3? Jeez.
I helped get his bags and stuff into the car, and while I was, I saw something sparkly from the tiny pocket of the giant black suitcase he had. I wanted so bad to look, but I know it wasn't right too. So I didn't.
"OH! Before I forget! Mia, come here. Abby, could you please go sit in the car for a second?" Why did he just was me? "I wanted to give you something. It's a necklace. (As seen below) your mother gave it to me right before she, uh, passed. I want you to have it."

This was one beautiful necklace. It totally looked like one mom would wear. "Oh. Thank you. Thank you so much. It means a lot." It really did. It made me think that mom was with
Me. "Do you want some help getting it on?" He was so polite. "Oh. Yes please." After that, we got back in the car, and went home.

I am so sorry about the super long chapter again :) I just have so many ideas I can't explain them all I one chapter. Thank you again for reading my book! It truly means a lot that some people actually care. Thank you!
