The voice in my head, normally so calm and controlled, was screaming at me to run. Pushing my senses aside, I looked down the dimly lit alleyway and asked, "Yes? What do you want?" No reply came, and I looked once again, my eyes scanning the shadows, my eyes trying to adjust to the darkness. I thought I saw a faint shape move. "Who is it?" I asked again. "Do you need help?" Instead of replying, I saw the figure inch out from it's hiding place and slowly, steadily, walk towards me. I started to back up, checking the street behind me for oncoming traffic. There was none. Taking one last look at the thing before I ran, I saw what it looked like for a split second as it passed under the light out back of a store. What I saw, although it was only briefly, scarred me for the rest of my life. The image, captured by my mind, would haunt me forever. Now, having seen the murderous being in the light, I gave in to what the voices in my head had been telling me along: run. And so I ran, down the sidewalk, the rush of blood in my ears. I heard a bloodcurdling scream from behind, far behind. From the place I ran from. Either the monster had found another victim, or it was in agony because it could not catch me. I have since tried to erase any knowledge of the beast in my mind, but has stayed, and I know it has stayed. And now, it is time for the world to see what was lurking in those shadows that night. They need to know what is waiting for them. Here it is, what I saw that night.http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Hello_Kitty_Pink_2981.jpg
