It was almost midnight, Jay was asleep in one of the rooms, Almun was brewing an elixir for Jay, things were full of tension in the manor.
Lunar opened her eyes, previously falling asleep at Jay's bedside. An elf was sitting in a chair in the corner across from her carefully studying her books. She looked up, giving Lunar a warm smile.
"You must've been tired dear girl. I have been waiting for you to awaken, Galina brought something to eat in case you or your friend here woke up. Seeing that your awake, you must be hungry." The elf said, Lunar rubbed her eyes and yawned as the elf gave her a small loaf of bread.
She took the bread from her and munched on it still tired and drowsy, the elf bowed and exited the room.
Bazix slid into the room not long after.
"Ah, I see your awake. You took quite a fall after you found your friend, not sleeping well I see?" He asked as he neared the bedside.
His eyes changed as well as his scales, turning a dark topaz color. Bazix put his hand on Jay's shoulder, he went into a small trace of focus. Lunar watched in confusion,
"Is everything alright Bazix?" She spoke quietly.
"I'm attempting to find answers, Almun does not condone my way but it's a useful method. It's hard to concentrate with chatter, so if you would please remain as quite as possible." He answered in a blunt manner, his head twitched from time to time. It was only momentarily until his scales and eyes turned back to normal, hastily jerking his hand away.
"Well? What happened? What did you find?"

"I know who did this... I, may have also seen and heard some...other things. I dug through his thoughts as well as his memories, I may have dug too far...Things that aren't my business. But, we can discuss that later. I have news for Almun, rather urgent so I must go immediately." Bazix left the room rather quickly. Alum turned around when he heard the door open. "What is it? I'm busy at the moment." He said. Bazix sighed, "I know what kind of demon attacked that boy. I used my Trace ability, I think you might want to hear me out. " Bazix replied.
"You know I hate it when you do that. Trace isn't humane, digging into someone's thoughts like that? It's unsettling.  But...if it's as important as you say it is, I have no right to get mad. Go on." Almun stated. He put one of the few remaining ingredients in a motor and pestle, mixed with some red colored powder.
"This is no ordinary demon we are dealing with. It's....a horsemen, or rather, woman. The 3rd tier, they are released when it approaches the end of time. If it was the end, the world would be desolate right now. It doesn't make sense. Death will come back for that girl, and I'm afraid that none of us can stop it." Bazix rambled. Almun cracked the bowl when he heard him, he took a second to relax before giving Bazix the finished medicine for Jay.
"Tell no one of this, this stays between us. Take the medicine to Jay, he needs it."
Bazix nodded, leaving immediately after.

"Pathetic! War, don't let me down. Death has done enough." Horon said is his deep voice. A warrior approached behind him and bowed.
"Of course...Have I ever failed you?" War chuckled.

"Never." Horon responded with a sinister smirk on his face.
