He walked through the forest with a pattern; left foot, right foot, left foot, right foot. He was on a journey to find the last chapter to his story, where it all comes to an end.
He was on his morning jog traveling with the bees and butterflies. Angry at the world, angry at him. Wondering why he left without handing his heart back. Its hanging along with him.
His journey led him to a cliff. He opened his arms wanting to be one with the wind. As it drifts away but never falls, but he wasn't the wind. He was pathetic, or so everyone thought. Leaning forward to finish his story. 'I will finally have one!' He thought to his self, he closed his eyes leaning a bit more.
He slowed down to watch him weave through the trees to the cliff. The sound of the leaves following him as he goes. In this case he wanted to be a cat, hoping curiosity doesn't kill him. He watched him lean forward, but couldn't bare to watch so he ran as fast as he could to reach him.
He heard he leaves crunching and turned around to see him running. He moved back but unfortunately he tripped and fell forward. He feels hands gripping his shirt, he looks down with a smile then back up to him. He sees the pain rushing through his eyes with such intensity.
My hand grips his shirt and he looks down in glory. Can this be my ending? Can this be where my heart lies, dead along with the love inside of me? I use all me strength to pull him up. My skin becoming see through to the veins. Hugging him with everything I have, as we stand on this cliff together.
"Jump."
He leans towards the edge and falls. On the way down a couple of leaves follow. The wind dancing with my hair. Smiling with the sun on the way down as I finish the last chapter.
"I'm free."
"I'm free."The End
