Chapter 1: The Renegades: Riley Meets Zhion

The sun was shining brightly on her bright red cloak she had worn over her face. The bright green grass swayed as the cool wind had passed over the enchanted forest. She was bringing treats for her grandmother,which she had baked herself. The sweet-smelling aroma had filled her nose buds, which had made her more hungry. As she was walking, she had spotted a handsome renegade, in the same age as her. His cloak had fallen off from his face, and he was really beaten up; he had brown messy hair, scarred face, gashes all over his neck and blood stains all over his clothing. Unaware of watching, she had accidentally tripped off a large rock, which had caused her to stumble in front upon the handsome renegade, and she had felt really embarrassed. She was embarrassed, so she hid her face under her bright red cloak. The renegade gave her a confused look, before helping her up to her knees.
"Th-thank you...", stuttered the blushing young lady. He then replied, "Tch, be more careful little girl, your parents might get worried." She then protested, "I am not a young girl I am a lady already! Why is everyone thinking I look like a 10-year-old girl?" Forgetting that she was embarrassed towards the handsome renegade, she quickly took off her cloak and crossed her arms, "See? I am a LADY, NOT A GIRL,"She had long brown hair and green eyes; her hair was neatly brushed from her back, and her skin was pale-normal. She continued, "Just go away, I am going to deliver treats for my grandmother, be somewhere else but here." He then replied, "Whatever, I'll just escort you to your grandmother's cottage." She glared at him, "WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU!" But instead of replying, he just donned on his cloak over his head and walked through the thick trees of the enchanted forest to escort her.
While they were walking, she cleared her throat and began, "Oh uh, I never asked your name." He then simply said, "Zhion, it's Zhion Glister. And you?" She replied while staring at the nearby trees surrounding them "I'm Riley; Riley Redberry. By the way, why are you here in the forest anyway?" He answered, "I was heading to the Northern Kingdom, there was a peril at the castle. The Southern Kingdom of Deloniah which is their enemy, had hit a surprise attack on the Northern Kingdom of Lenorah. I am one of the renegades who needs to fight alongside Lenorah. Even though renegades rebel against kingdom's wills, we can still be heroes and fight alongside them. Only then such an act like that, can make us heroes."
