"When were you going to tell me?" Jenna was disappointed. David was leaving for Mexico and wasn't coming back until senior year. David hung his head and looked at his cleats.
"My mom told me just yesterday." he told her.
"You are going to meet hot Mexican girls and I will be forgotten!" she cried.
"Yes I have to. Mexican schools want us to go to homecoming with a girl but I will never forget my Jenna Porter." he chuckled. Jenna felt sick inside
"When do you leave?" she asked.
"Tonight." he uttered. He wished he never left. Jenna needed him right when she recovered.
Jenna went with David to the airport. She got as far as the security check when she left.
"Bye David, I will miss you!" she cried. Tears escaped her eyes. Just then her phone beeped.
DavidSoccerStar: Miss you already.
JennaPort34: Miss you too.
DavidSoccerStar: Ugh two hours waiting for the plane.
JennaPort34: Haha sucker.
DavidSoccerStar: Wish you could come
JennaPort34: Haha I wish too. Say hi to Mexico for me. Gtg.
She closed her phone and smiled. Wait three years, David will come home. That seemed so far away.
-----One year later-----
"I would like to present you homecoming sophomore royalty, Jenna Porter and Sean Churchill." everyone clapped. Jenna took out her phone and snapped a picture to post on Instagram.
JennaPort34: Sophomore Homecoming da best #lovinit#sophomore#royalty#hc with @s_churchill. David was the first to like it. He commented:
DavidSoccerStar: Missing you. Looking good with Sean. Wait thirty seconds.
Jenna smiled. Sean kissed her forehead and her phone bleeped. A picture with David and a Mexican girl by the beach was posted.

Jenna liked it first and commented:
JennaPort34: Miss you.
DavidSoccerStar: Haha miss u too.
Sean spent the night with Jenna. She was really happy, laughing and taking pictures. Sean looked on his Instagram and saw her post. He looked at her and laughed. She hugged his waist and looked up at the sky. David might be a country away, but Jenna never forgot him. It was real dynamic love.
