I hummed as I awoke to the sight of Tyler curled up in the blankets beside me. Something about the way his hair stuck out on all sides, his mouth slightly open with a puddle of drool on the pillow beneath it, made my.heart tingle at the thought of waking up to this every day for the rest of my life. I was so deeply in love with this man, and I will do anything for him to believe it.
I quietly escaped from beside him, making my way towards the kitchen. I brewed coffee, leaving enough for him, in case he wanted some when he woke up.
As I sipped on the warming liquid, I heard steps make their way down the hall towards me. I smiled as Tyler yawned and sat beside me at the kitchen island.
"Good morning, angel." I greeted, stretching my hand to join his.
"G'mornin." His voice slightly raspy.
"Would you like some coffee?" I offered, gesturing towards the pot on the counter.
"No thank you." He replied with a small smile.
"Alright, but let me know when you're hungry and we can go out and get something.
I set the mug down and pulled Tyler onto my lap, hugging him. He was startled at first, but soon melted into the hug.
"Tyler."
"Hmm?" He hummed in response.
"How did I ever get someone as perfect as you are?" I spoke, him squirming slightly as his cheeks heated up.
"Uhh.." He stuttered.
"I'm in love with you, ya'know that?" I hugged him tighter.
"I love you too Josh." He smiled, pressing his nose against my
cheek.
I hummed, picking him up and carrying him to the couch. He shuffled until he was comfortable, with his head against my shoulder and my arm around his waist. This boy was mine, and I knew I could never loose him.
I picked up the remote and flicked on the television, settling on some cartoons. Tyler giggled, and I smiled, resting my face in his hair.
After watching the TV for a bit, we decided to wash up and go grab a bite to eat.
I handed Tyler a sweater to wear, since it was chilly outside, and to be honest he looked damn good in my clothes. It fit perfect against his small frame, the sleeves slightly covering his knuckles.
We decides to walk, since the café was only a few blocks away from my house. Somewhere along the way, our hands folded together, and smiles never left our faces.
As we walked into the small building, I was soon greeted with the sweet aroma of coffee and warmth.
We sat at a booth, the waiter took our order, and we enjoyed the peaceful feel of the diner.
I slipped my hand back into Tyler's, pulling it up to my lips to place a gentle kiss on it.
"Its really nice here. " Tyler said, and I hummed in agreement.
After eating, I brought Tyler back to his house. I couldn't resist not talking to him, so I sent him a quick message.
