The Essence Of God's Word

Today

I went to church today just fealing ordinary. I was there when I heard Pastor Clarke started talking and I had to listen to him. It's the way he always has a smile on his face and is so friendly that I find so nice about him. I know that it is God's work and grace that he is always smiling.

I came home and started to read this book. Where the girl is facing a lot of trials but when Jesus is introduced to her, although she was first reluctant I found it amazing how she could so easily accept God in her heart and how persons on television made it look so easy.

But I got to thinking and I came up with the conclusion that I'm the one who makes it looks so hard. The Lord said come to me all who are heavy laiden and I will give you rest.

I felt bad with myself so I went on my knees and began to pray and I could feel this prayer , its not many times I feel like I'm actually giving my all when I pray.

But this time I felt I did and I was happy, after I got up I felt I could smile genuinely , I always love the times when I can pray a heart felt prayer and give it my all, which I intend to do always. I feel much empowered.

I'm here to say that no matter what we are faced with we are blessed. We face it for a reason. We are children of the most high and there's nothing that we can't do through God. We should believe that for ourselves.

Please pray now, pray for not only yourself but those around you that we may all come to worship God in spirit and in truth and to seek a Christ like (Christian) life and to ask him to create us a clean heart.
