Chapter 52

Daniel's POV

"I told them there was no reason to call you", I say trying to calm down my mother.

My mother glares at me but doesn't speak. The look on her face when she saw me was terrifying.

"You are getting the restraining order that you requested to the cops. Daniel look at your face!", she cries.

The damages are worse than I thought. Beau did more than a busted lip. My face is entirely bruised from my upper eyebrow to my chin, and I have a line of cuts along my eyebrow and cheek. As well as my chest and ribs are slightly bruised and I am in a lot of pain.

"Mum I am not requesting a restraining order on my girlfriends brother".

"Daniel this isn't the first time he has come after you! I am not taking any risks. I don't want to see you getting hurt".

"I know how to protect myself".

"I don't care... We are looking into it", she says walking towards the car and I have no choice but to follow. All I want to do right now is see Anna and I know that is the stupidest thing to do. My attention is focused on Beau as I see him leaving the station as well. Gina was called down as well and she follows behind him as she yells at him. This was the biggest waste of time. They brought us into the waiting room to sit while they collected our information and phoned our parents to tell them we are at the station. I don't see the point of us even coming here in the first place since we weren't arrest. The policed talked about the restraining order to my mother and asked her if she wanted to pressed charges for Beau coming in and attacking me at my house the first time. I yelled at my mom when she even considered the idea. I am not doing anything stupid that will make my relationship with Beau even worse. Yes I am pissed at him for punching me but like I said nothing is keeping me away from Anna. I mean nothing. I don't care what is going on right now I am calling her when I get home and if she doesn't answer I am sneaking over. I am tired of this shit. Beau is overreacting. He isn't going to win.

"Beau how many times am I going to get called to the police station for you! I am sick of your stupid fights!", I over hear Gina curse at Beau.

"Did you know about it!", he shouts back.

"Did you know!", his tone raises as he repeats the question and I stop in my tracks to turn around and face them.

"Yes I knew and it shouldn't matter to you. I am her mother. It shouldn't matter to you who she dates!", she says and glances over at me.

Beau quickly turns to me and his fist clench by his side.

"What the fuck are you looking at", his jaw clenches.

"Don't speak to him like that", my mother says to Beau.

"Beau, Daniel is your best friend", Gina says.

"Am I really", I say quietly and Beau looks down to the floor.

"I can't fucking believe you. We are best friends. Why can't I date Anna.. You know what, you are not the boss of her. I am not breaking up with her and I don't care what you think of me", I say and before I can finish Beau comes charging at me.

His hands grips around my shirt but before anything happened Gina pulls him off of me.

"This is why we are getting a restraining order!", my mother shouts.

"What does this make us.. Are you really not going to talk to me anymore".

"I don't give a shit about you. You aren't my friend. You never were. This whole friendship has been a lie", his voice shakes.

I deeply sigh and turn my back to him. He isn't even worth it. I am tired and I can't deal with him anymore. I am tired of dealing with him.

"Hey I wasn't done talking to you!", Beau shouts and I hear his footsteps behind me.

"I thought you were done with me!", I shout back. I am really confused. One seconds he tells me to leave the next he yells at me for leaving.

"I am", he barks back.

"You don't make sense. Beau are you done with me or not".

"I don't want anything to do with you".

"Well you can be done with me but I am not done with your sister".

"We will see about that", he mumbles before walking away.
