Even though Strawberry loved this movie, she couldn't concentrate. Especially when they said that Gretchen's dad invented the Toaster Strudel.
Ramona kept hearing something outside.
Tamyra just smiled.
Ramona was just scared and confused. She kept repeating herself. "What in the heck is that noise?"
"That's it" Virginia finally said, very annoyed. She paused the movie and opened the door. "Who's out there?" she asked. "Oh my god!" she squealed happily, as she let the mystery person in the house.
There, on crutches, was Strudel.
"Aunt Pearl just texted me" Tamyra said, running to hug her cousin.
Tears of joy and relief filled many people's eyes, but especially Strawberry.
They all helped him get upstairs so they could finish watching the movie.
Strawberry kissed Strudel for the first time since that dreadful day, and welcomed his sweet, juicy taste back into her life.
"What did I tell you two about making out on my bed?" asked Virginia.
"Does it look like I can go on the floor?" Strudel said sweetly.
"Okay" Virginia sighed. "But just this one time"
Strawberry looked over at Ramona and smiled.
Then she continued kissing Strudel.
