Jackson sat on the bleachers watching as Scott made every single shot, he clenched his fists, Derek was useless he was this so-called "Big Bad Alpha" and he gave Jackson the "bite" but it did nothing, he never changed, never turned into a werewolf like Scott or even like Isaac the other guy who made every shot. "You know if Coach would just let me on the team then I would kick that guy's butt." a sweet, familiar voice said behind him. "Maggie!" Jackson smiled turning around and being smothered by a great big bear hug before he could see her face, "Hey Jackie, how have you been?" she asked breaking away, she had grown so much since he had seen her last. "Why do you always call me Jackie?" he scoffed "Well Jackson has Jack in it so I just decided to add the "ie" to it so now I must always call you Jackie." she smiled sweetly. "Well Meggie I've been just fine how about you?" he smirked and she scowled "I was seven Jackson, stop calling me Meggie." she said, "Stop calling me Jackie," he sighed, "Never!" she smiled and Jackson laughed.
Scott looked over and saw jackson with a girl that looked about a year younger than him, he had the biggest smile that Scott had ever seen on him. "Stiles, who's that?" he asked his best friend, "I don't know, probably an old girlfriend." he scoffed, he was always jealous of Jackson for one reason, Lydia Martin, Jackson's ex girlfriend, who was still in love with him, Stiles had the biggest crush on Lydia but she didn't even know his name. "Just listen into their conversation." Stiles suggested and Scott nodded. He focused his hearing on their voices and he started to listen, "So why'd you come back?" Jackson asked "Well Jenna got married, and I missed my brother, and I figured that Dad's new wife would be tons nicer than Jenna's new husband, he was a jerk." she sighed "That sucks, well I'm sure glad your back." he replied, "That guy sure seems intent on listening into our conversation, he must think he has super hearing." she laughed and he heard Jackson growl "McCall!" then the whistle blew, the sound was deafening. "McCall!" the coach yelled, "Get your head in the game, the ball just flew right past you!" he finished scolding him, "Sorry Coach." he sighed joining back into practice.
Maggie looked over and saw that a guy Jackson's age was looking at her, he had brown hair and soft brown eyes, and he gave a large grin and waved when she looked over, so she simply smiled at him and waved and Jackson looked mad. "Seriously Jackie, you're gonna have to fill me in on all the people you hate, because he seems like one of them." she said as he glared at the guy who quickly withdrew his waving hand. "Fine, the one who seemed to be listening to us, I hate him the most, thats Scott McCall. The guy who was waving is the closest runner up to Scott, that one is Stiles, then there's Isaac Lahey, I hate him too." he pointed to a tall brown haired guy her brother's age he looked over and smirked as if he had heard the whole thing.
