A Different Life

Chapter 3

Voight came back at about 5 in the morning with Jay's car and cloth for Erin. Walking in he found Jay holding Erin as she slept peacefully. Jay looked up upon hearing the door open and crawled out of the bed. Erin grunting in her sleep as both men tried hard not to laugh.

"Hows she doing?" Asked Voight worried

"She started shaking about an hour ago and Will came in and gave her a sedative to stop it and help her sleep a bit better" Said Jay as Hank nodded

"He says that once she wakes up again they'll assess her and go from there" said Jay as Will and Natalie walked down the hallway

"How's she doing?" Asked Will

"She's sleeping, grunted a bit when I moved out of the bed but I don't think she's actually awake" He said as they looked into the room as Will nodded. Natalie took this chance to check on Erin's vitals, as they guys stood outside and watched. Natalie came out and smiled at the guys

"her stats are good, and she's dead asleep" she said to them as they relaxed.

"We'll be back in about an hour. Page me if she wakes up before then" Said Will as they walked off. Jay and Hank said goodbye as Jay walked back into Erin's room

Erin woke confused and slightly disorientated, until she say Jay sitting in the chair next to her

"Jay?" She asked confused

"Hey, how you feeling?" He asked her

"Argh, like crap" she said rolling onto her side

"Yeah I bet" He said to her pushing her hair out of her face

"I'm just going to page Will ok?" He asked to her as she nodded, He walked out into the hall way to message he's brother as he heard foot steps approaching

"Matthew Casey and Gabriella Dawson! Long time no see!" He said smiling as they walked up to him

"how's she doing?" asked Gabby

"She'll be better, go on in" He said to her as Gabby ducked into the room

"She looks cocky" Said Jay laughing

"Oh she is. I think the only women I've met that matches her cockiness is Erin. She had a damn good save that none of the guys caught so yeah" Said Matt smiling

"Have you looked in the mirror buddy?" Asked Jay laughing

"This is proud not cocky" Said Matt laughing

"Well I never. Matthew Casey!" said Will as they shook hands

"Alright lets see how Erin's doing" He said

"I'll wait out here, She'll probably feel a little overwhelmed with too many people in there" Said Casey as Jay nodded

"Is that Casey outside?" Asked Erin

"Yeah he's giving you a bit of space" Said Jay as she smiled

"Nice guy you've got there Gabs" She said as Gabby blushed.

"Alright Erin, how you feeling?" Asked Will

"Like complete and total crap! I never want to feel like his again!" She said 

"Nausea?" He asked as she nodded

"Can I get you to stand?" Asked Will as Erin swung her legs around to the end of the bed. Gabby stepped forward to help her up and let her go keeping her arms out in case she slipped
