They were going to catch me, I knew it.

But I had to keep running.

Sasha and I had been separated, and she was going back home to tell mom, grandpa and grandma.

It was then that I remembered no one was home.

I sighed and made a turn, hoping that I could get back in time.

But then were was a flash of light and I skidded to a stop, shutting my lone eye.

When I opened it, I was in a completely strange place. I looked around a bit, then blackened out.

(You think I'm ending it there at such a short spot? Nah, man!)

I woke with a soft sound some time later.

I moved to sit up then noticed something off about my body.

I was lying in the grass, and I had human arms and hands.

Human body parts.

I couldn't believe it.

I yelped and sat up fully, looking at them.

I also noticed that I was already clothed. I wore sweat-pants style jeans and sneakers, while my shirt was black and white, as well as long, reaching almost to my waist where my pants rested.

I stood up, shakily at first.

Then I noticed I had glasses, and felt something over my right eye. I steadied myself before doing anything.

I touched the glasses lightly, then underneath where a patch was overtop my eye, but not pushing out enough to displace my glasses.

I sighed and lowered my hand, deciding to take a look around. I fixed my glasses slightly as they felt weird on my face, then began walking around.

I didn't recognize the area at all.

I sighed after a while, deeming myself lost before I heard something behind me.

Grou...

"Eep!" I squeaked and ran ahead, trying to get away.

Did those wolves find me again?! I was trying not to freak out, before tripping on a branch and tumbling down a hill I didn't realize was there. I wasn't used to having hands and feet at all!

I soon hit the normal ground, my back cracking over a small stump. Any bigger and it would have hit my head!

I got up shakily, groaning from the ache in my back though it didn't stop me from running once again.

I got through some bush then noticed I was in front of what seemed similar to some style of road.

Is this the way home? I thought. The style was similar to that of the road back home, and I hoped it was.

As I began to walk alongside it, a carriage came rolling up and stopped near me.

"Care for a ride there, miss?"

I glanced back, surprised as I saw...
