The picture above is an accurate representation of my headcannon for grubs, seadwellers and land dwellers.

Trolls start off as eggs then hatch into grubs, after they're grubs, they have to grow up and pupate to become trolls. They go from a small insect with six legs and their blood color displayed on their bodies, to the human-like trolls we know from the webcomic. Nobody is really sure what pupation is like but I believe they pupate like butterflies do, in a cocoon. Their insect legs are no longer needed and fall off leaving three "grub scars* on each of their sides. Again their horns harden and become much less sensitive.

Trolls dont have nipples or belly buttons. There is no need for nipples because they're hatched and have no need to nurse their young, and they don't need belly buttons because they were never attached to an umbilical cord so nothing is left behind. Even though the grub scars are useless, they are quite sensitive like nipples.

Seadwellers are the same except they develop gills so they can live on land and in the sea, because when they're grubs they have to live in the sea. Durring pupation their lungs change to allow them to breathe air and underwater. They have three gills on either side of their neck. Their gills are about as sensitive as horns but can be painful because it could cut off their oxygen supply and/or you could rub too hard.

The next chapter will be Miscellaneous, for the physical things I haven't mentioned but dont really fit into any of these categories. If you guys want me to do the reproductive system you have to tell me. I won't do it otherwise. Thanks for reading!
