Pulling his arms off me I span around too look at him. He looked down, shaking his head and rubbing his back. I looked at him until he finally gave me eye contact.

‘I didn’t mean it. I’m sorry. I, I’m just tired.’

‘Yeah. Well. Whatever.’ I replied turning around and heading down the corridor.

*I’m sorry.* I heard him thinking. Shaking my head I tuned out.

*Billie? Billie? Hello? Billie?*

I span round and glared at David.

‘Stop it! I’m trying too listen for Abbie!’

He looked at me confused, ‘What? I wasnt thinking anything.’

‘You weren’t!?’ I replied my mouth dropping open. I span round again too look down the corridor.

‘ABBIE!’ I screamed. ‘ABBIE. ABBIE. WHERE ARE YOU?!’

I felt David grab my arm but I carried on screaming.

‘ABBIE. PLEASE. ABBIE. I CAN HEAR YOU. IN MY HEAD. TELL ME WHERE YOU ARE!’

‘Hey, calm down.’ David said trying to keep me still, but I was shaking. Tears began too stream down my cheeks.

‘Abbie.’

David pulled me into him, burrowing my head into his chest I sobbed.

*In the door too the left. You alright? You sound upset?*

Screaming I threw my head up, accidentally head butting David in the process.

‘Owe.’ He said holding his head.

‘Oh shit, sorry!’ I leapt out his arms, running towards the door and flinging it open. And there sitting on a chair. Was Abbie. I screamed running forwards.

‘Oh my god! Are you okay???!’

She smiled. She looked completely fine. No blood. No nothing.

‘Yeh. Of course I am.’ She replied. Almost sounding surprised.

‘I thought. You’d be hurt.’ I shrugged.

‘No?’ She smiled. I looked at her arm, sticking out from under her sleeve was a bandage.

‘Whats that?’ I asked pointing and raising an eyebrow.

‘Oh that?’ She replied suddenly. ‘Oh, that’s nothing.’ She pulled at her sleeve. Just then David walked into the room closing the door behind him, still holding his head. Abbie looked up and nodded at him. He walked slowly forwards cringing.

‘Did I hurt you?’ I asked looking at him.

‘Yes.’ He replied cringing and showing a small cut on his forehead. My fangs came out. I looked at Abbie. She smiled at me perfectly normal. No fangs. She was better at controlling them than me I guessed.

‘I’m sorry David.’ I said looking at him and smiling slightly.

He came and put his arms round my waste, ‘Its okay.’ He smiled.

Abbie looked at us both and raised an eyebrow.

‘Billie. I think we need to talk.’

I looked at her and she made her eyes wide.

‘Oh, right. Sure.’ Smiling I kissed David on the cheek and walked over to the furthest corner of the room closely followed by Abbie. She cringed slightly as she walked.

‘So. Whats the deal with David hmm??’

‘David? Oh. Nothing.’ I began to blush slightly

‘Billie. Youre going red. Has anything, happened?’
