Chapter 6: Moonlight Memories

"Original get up!"

I opened my eyes to Damon and Elena standing over my bed. My eyes scanned my room and I saw Kol sitting in the corner of my room. Kol came to see me last night, he warned me, warned me not to trust anyone, not Damon, not klaus or Rebekah or Elena or Jeremy or even Stefan. I wasn't to trust anyone but he didn't tell me why, I didn't listen to him and now he won't leave until I do listen.

"What do you want?" I asked Damon, looking back at him.

"Apart from the fact to shout at you for become buddy's with Silas....they found Stefan-

"Where!" I jumped up.

"In a safe box in the water. They haven't opened it yet. We're going to take my car there now, you get changed then just run to us." Damon told me and I nodded.

Damon and Elena left my room and I instantly ripped my top off but I knew Kol was still there.

"Are you just going to watch me change brother?" I raised my eyebrow and Kol sighed then turned his back on me, facing the wall letting me get changed.

"It won't be what you expect Demi, seeing Stefan, things haven't changed." Kol told me as I rushed through my closet. "He still love Elena more."

"You don't get it Kol. I don't care that he loves Elena more, I just care about him being safe. I love him even if he doesn't love me and I care about him more than anything in the world." I told Kol pulling out some clothes. "Even though a part of me hates him, I can't let anything happen to him."

I changed into tight black chained dress, a black studded leather jacket and black vans. Kol turned back around to me. I was happy to see Kol, don't get me wrong but he couldn't tell me who I can and cannot trust.

"Kol, Nik and I are as close as ever, you cannot tell me not to trust him, he won't hurt me." I defended my brother.

"Demi, he let me die right in front of his eyes and he did nothing about it, neither did you for that fact but at least you think about me unlike him. I know this is a lot to take in with everything that's going on-

"Kol if I can't trust my family then who can I trust!" I cut him off.

"Silas."

This wasn't Kol. Kol would never say that out of everyone I love, I can trust Silas. I refused to believe what he was saying.

"Leave." I told Kol. "Leave now and don't come to see me ever again."

"I know you don't want to believe it but Silas loves you Demetria, he loves you more than anyone else, even Klaus." Kol said.

"How can you say that." I shook my head walking towards my door. "Leave Kol, I don't want you here."

Then I ran out of my room and then out of the house into the forest to see Stefan. I reached Damon, Elena and Liz as they hovered over the large steel safe box. Stefan was here, I was just a few minutes away from seeing him again and this meant everything.

"Go ahead." Damon told me. "You should be the one to open it."

I gripped the handle then took a big breathe and flung it open...... It wasn't Stefan..... Elena, Liz and Damon all looked away, avoiding the mangled human carcass remains that was left in the safe box. It wasn't Stefan, just some man with vampire marks in his neck. This man died of vampire wounds. After being locked away for so long I'm sure Stefan would be hungry. Stefan killed this man, that meant he was free. I stood still looking at the body until Damon put his hand on my shoulder and turned me around from the scene.

"We'll find him." Damon comforted me. "I promise."

I shrugged Damon off then walked away from them. I walked through the woods thinking all about Stefan. I was so close and now I'm so far away again, I keep thinking I'll never find him.....until I bumped into him in the middle of the woods.
