Unknown POV
I open my eyes and try to sit up but something is holding me back. looking down I see the ugliest black restraints ever. ugh! I hate restraints. My eyes wander across the room and I know exactly where I am the freaking hospital! My injuries weren't even that bad.
"Hello miss, I'm doctor Ann Lee," says a voice.
I look towards the door to see the elegant almond skin of the pack doctor, she has chocolate colored almond shaped eyes and jet black hair, "I know who you are," I state, "but why I'm I restrained?"
"Well, to state the obvious you are restrained because of your history of flipping out around needles and your habit of leaving and running away," she tells me and I just roll my eyes.
"Like its going to stop me," I tell her already starting to pull my hands out. I know that I've escaped 5 times in the last week but restraints aren't going to stop me.
"Well you can try all you want but you will not get out this time we are going to break that horrid habit," she tells me before leaving.
I keep pulling on the restraints until a nurse comes in asking me if I need anything so I do the nicest thing I can think of at the time and glare at her. I know it wasn't that nice but it beats yelling. eventually I realize the only way I'm going to get out is to break my thumbs. ugh, I hate breaking my thumbs.
I finally hear a snap and I'm free I jump out of bed and find a window. my last thought is of revenge on the little pup who killed Octavian, "I'm coming for you," I whisper before I slip into the night.
*1 hour later*
Megan POV
"Who's there," I ask before a smallish sized girl limps out of the darkness she looks a little younger than my mom but not much.
"Please," she whispers, "help me."
"With what? who are you running from?" I ask slightly annoyed I have enough to deal with without having to help some lady who's gotten into god knows how much trouble. I notice her start to move towards me and I take the same amount of steps back measuring her distance before she speeds up. she clamps a hand on my mouth and applies pressure to a point on my neck until I see stars and suddenly everything fades...
