You walked down the empty streets of the city, glancing behind you every few seconds. You don't know where you are or how you got here but you know it's some place you've never been before. Yes you're in the city you know that. As a country gir lthat lived with your grandparents you're used to being alone but you're almost 100% positive thata city is never this empty. The silence is scaring you. You can hear every step you takeas the sound bounces off the large builds on either side of you. The only thing you want to do is find someone, anyone, that can help you find out what's going on. "Hello!?" You call out, your voice echoing through the streets. You hope someone hears you. There is a loud scrabbling sound and you freeze. You listen, trying to pin-point where it is coming from when something slams into your legs from behind, making you stumble forward. You quickly catch you balance and look down to see a large golden retriever standing in front of you. "H-hello" you murmur to the dog. It barks and wags it's tail, the collar around it's neck jingles. You crouch down and look at the name tag it had. "Prince? Is that your name?" You ask him. He barks and you take that as a yes. "Where is your owner?" You ask, hoping he could lead you to someone. Prince whimpered and his head drooped. "You don't know do you? Well I can look after you. We can keep each other company." You smile and scratch him behind the ear, making him perk up with happiness again. You stand up and start walking, Prince taking place at your side. Staring ahead, you listen to the sound of your own foot steps and the rhythmic clicking of Prince's claws on the asphalt. There was a quiet whistling sound as the steady wind blew, ruffling your short, dark brown hair. You felt confident now that you found Prince. He walked at your side, his deep brown eyes staring ahead. It looked as thought he was thinking. You could almost see the thoughts in his eyes. He looked up at you and opened his mouth. You smiled, he looked as though he was smiling right back, and he was. You could see it in his eyes. There was something else in there too.It was hard to make out but something else was there.
