Chapter 13

Emily's P.O.V

I pulled out of the hug with Elijah and smiled. "Are you ok?" He asked me and I nodded.

"I'm fine there's just," I looked behind him again. I looked at him and shook my head. "Nothing, I'm fine." I said.

"Are you sure?" Elijah asked and I nodded. He kissed my forehead and I closed my eyes. I opened them and saw my father were Elijah was.

"Hello girl." Dad said and I back away. When I looked back again it was Elijah.

"I'm...umm...I-I'll just be upstairs." I said and ran upstairs to my room. I ran into the room and closed the door behind me. I slid down the back of the door until I was sitting on the floor. My heartbeat was racing and then there was a knock at the door.

I ignored the person knocking on my door and walked over to the bed. I saw my laptop on the bed and I sat on the bed, opening up my computer. I went on YouTube and search Joe Sugg. He's one of my friends, I met him through Zoe, and since it's Sunday he probably uploaded a new video.

Like I thought, he did and I smiled. I put in my headphones before pressing play on the video. It was a video he did with Zoe. I miss Joe and Zoe...But mainly Joe, I mean we're best friends. Here's a crazy idea, I'll call him. I looked around the room while listen to the video.

"Oh and to our best friend, Emily." I heard Joe say on the laptop. I looked back at the video and smiled. "Happy Birthday, bestie." Zoe said with a smile. "Happy Birthday, love." Joe said a little while after Zoe wished me happy birthday and I smiled while happy tears formed in my eyes. Tomorrow's my birthday and I always go to London to see Joe and Zoe. But I doubt Elijah will let me go after what happened.

"Thanks Joe." I said quietly. I soon saw my phone on the table next to my bed and grabbed it. I looked through my contacts and found Joe's contact. I pressed call as the next video started up on my laptop.

Zoe: Hello, this is Joe's phone. Who's calling?

Joe: Zoe, give me back my phone!

Emily: *chuckles* Umm, Zoe it's me Emily.

Zoe: Oh, hi Em.

Joe: Zoey give me the phone now!

Zoe: Fine. You and me will talk later ok?

Emily: Ok

Zoe: Bye Em and Happy Birthday.

Emily: Thanks and bye Zoe.

*Zoe hands Joe his phone*

Joe: Sorry, Emily Zoe got to my phone before I did.

Emily: No, it's ok. It's good to hear her voice again.

Joe: So, what's up?

Emily: Nothing much...I...I just...

Joe: Emily? Are you ok?

Emily: Yea, Joey, I'm fine.

Joe: Ok, you only call me Joey when something wrong.

Emily: Nothing wrong...I-I just missed you. *Tears fall down Emily's face*

Joe: I missed you too. Both me and Zoe, but mainly me.

Emily: *laughs* Oh and thanks for the birthday message on your video.

Joe: So you have watched it. *They both laugh*

Emily: Yea...Hey do you mind if I come to London for a few of weeks?

Joe: Yea of course, plus I just moved into a new apartment.

Emily: I know, so there's room for me?
