Chapter 20

Emily's P.O.V

I walked into the park and sat down on a bench waiting to see my father. Someone sat next to me but I paid no attention to them.

"I'm glad you decided to come." I looked to see my father sitting next to me. Fear and anger filled me. "Wise choice." He said and then I took a double take.

"It's you" I said

~Flashback (6 years ago)~

I was driving to the Grill to meet Dean and Sam. I saw a guy in the car who smirked at me.

"Dad?" I questioned and then...

CRASH!

~End of Flashback~

"Smart girl. You might want to make a phone call to your friend Joe." Dad said and I called Joe.

Joe: Hey Emily

Emily: Hey is everybody with you?

Joe: Yea why?

Emily: Just put me on speaker, please

Joe: You're on speaker

Emily: Thank you

Elijah: For what?

Emily: For being my *dad slammed a needle in my arm* family

Elijah: Emily are you ok?

Everything starts to go burry. But I hear my father talk to them.

Dad: Don't worry she'll be in good hands.

Joe: Let her go.

Dad: You, Joe and Zoe sugg are the only one in that room that knows what I'm capable of.

Joe and Zoe: Let. Her. Go

Dad: Say goodbye Emily

Emily: Help!

Then everything went black.

Joe's P.O.V

The line went dead and I was scared for Emily. I looked at Zoe and I could tell she was to. Elijah was confused and I just tried to get up. "Joe lay down!" Zoe said and pushed me back down.

"I'm not going to let him hurt her again." I said in a overprotective voice.

"Wait who was that?" Elijah asked and we both looked at him.

"Her father." Zoe and I said at the same time. Elijah bit his wrist and feed me his blood.

"Don't die in the next 24 hours." Elijah said and unhooked me from all the machines. I got out of bed and walked out of the hospital with Elijah and Zoe. We got into a cab and driven to their house. Their house was a mess and Aria ran up to Elijah.

"Aria what happened?" I asked her and she looked scared. Elijah hugged her close.

"Grandma and Uncle Finn took Uncle Klaus, Kol, and Auntie Rebekah away." Aria said and Elijah looked around.

"KLAUS!" Elijah yelled and I stayed with Aria. Hayley came downstairs with Hope. Yes. I know who they are...I met them at the wedding

"Elijah where's Emily?" She asked and he shook his head. I noticed something on the table. It was a note Rebekah had written. Aria had come over and sat on my lap. I was sitting in the one spot on the couch. I read and saw Aria kept trying to read it as well but gave up.

To whoever finds this,

Our mother and my brother Finn joined forces with our father to kill us. They said Emily must die too and got her father involved. I have know idea what will happen but please help us or we will all end up dead. I do not wish Aria or Hope to grow up without a mum or dad.

"Elijah," Elijah turned to me and saw the letter in my hand. "Look at this." I said and handed him the letter. He took the letter and read it over. He looked angry and Aria fell asleep in my lap.

"Elijah what is it?" Hayley asked and he looked at me.

"Can you take Aria upstairs please?" He asked me and I nodded. I picked up Aria and put her to bed.

"Where mommy?" She asked me in a very sleepy tone and I pulled the blankets over her.

"I don't know, Aria. I just don't know." I said and she looked down.

"But she'll come back right. Mommy promised she come back to me and mommy never breaks promised." Aria said and started to cry.

"Aria, look at me." She looked up at me and I wiped her tears. "I promise I will bring you mom home safe, ok?" I said and she nodded. I laid down with her and she fell asleep on my chest again.

"I promise."
