Charlie's POV

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw three other girls near me towards the JK Rowling House. Those people must be my new housemates.

I was about to turn around and introduce myself, but I decided against it.

What if they thought I was that snobby British girl? I didn't want to know that right now, school hadn't even started yet.

And where was the fifth girl?

I glanced up at the glass tower with a golden plaque that said "JK Rowling".

Well, this was it.

The automatic revolving doors sensed my presence and starting around. I quickly jumped into one of the compartment and felt someone come in along with me.

I turned around to greet her.

I was staring at her chin. I glanced up, and saw the striking electric blue of her eyes.

"Um, hi!" I gave her a smile.

She smirked at me then walked out of the compartment into the lobby toward the spiral staircase.

Unfortunately, I missed the timing to get out, and I had to go another round.

I sighed, her smirk haunting me.

It was like she thought I was scum or something.

Oh I was going to crush her. Nobody looked down on me. I was just as good as anyone.

'Goal to accomplish? Crush that electric blue girl like a cockroach...' I thought to myself as I finally got out.

The lobby was beautiful. The chandelier was made out of wood and warm light filled the lobby. The floor leading up to the spiral staircase was covered in a velvet red carpet. There were four leather chairs gathered around a cute little black coffee table. Nearby was a reception table, and a name plate on the counter. Dahlia. I wondered where she was.

Everything was so modern here... Most things were either glass, wooden, black, or white.

The walls surrounding the elevator was a beautiful chestnut color, and the elevator itself's interior was gold with black buttons, the numbers illuminated with LED lights.

I went for the modern looking wooden with metal frame spiral stair case and took every step carefully, taking it all in. I tried to take mental pictures of my new house so I could tell all about it to my family back in London, but you had to see it for yourself to know exactly how amazing it was.

I finally reached the last step and gasped.

The living room was huge and gorgeous. We had a wooden coffee table, a white furry carpet, a white leather couch. A ceiling to floor glass window where we could see the turquoise blue waters and the white sand.

"Welcome to JK Rowling house, Charlotte," a soft voice said.

I twirled around, coming face to face with a woman well into her 20's.

"Thank you, and who may you be?" I said pleasantly.

"I'm Dahlia, I'm the head of the house. I'll be in charge of you girls."

"Well, hi Dahlia," I said with a smile. This was Dahlia? She was gorgeous, she had to have been some Teen USA or something.

"So, where's the fifth girl? I mean did she miss her flight or boat or something?" electric blue asked.

"I'm sure she'll be coming soon," Dahlia said with a worried look.

Her worry told me that she might personally know the person who was supposed to come.
