I was captivated, unable to move. My feet felt like lead, i knew if i didn't act soon I'd be dead. She dashed forward in what seemed to be slow motion, i raised my arm to block the incoming strike, my forearms began to bleed. She was about to strike again from me from behind, i extended my leg for a kick, it her her stomach. I swiftly turned around to block her next attack. She swung at my head with her knife, i grabbed her wrist. We locked eyes once again, her beautiful hazel eyes showed my reflection perfectly. She quickly came to stab me with her off-hand weapon, Before she had the chance to finish her attack, i leaned into her knowing it could have killed me. One false move and she would have pierced my skin with her poison knife ensuring my death. I leaned in and kissed her. When we locked lips time stopped, her eyes light up with surprise then closed slowly, she blushed. I embraced her, i heard the metallic click or the metal hitting the stone floor. I opened my eyes, her hair never looked so beautiful. I stopped embracing her while we still kissed, I reached into my back pocket and pulled out a smoke bomb, and pulled the cord I quickly released her and dropped it then made my escape.

The sun looked better today, brighter, more yellow, the grass was more lush and the flowers more fragrant. I can't shake what happened last night. I-I'm not sure what to do. Given the current situation of well, her trying to kill me and vice versa, I'm not sure this would work out... Her eyes, I can't stop thinking about them, so innocent, but so fierce, so driven, so much desire. I couldn't help but be attracted to a woman with such qualities. My phone went off,

-meet me at the parkway at midnight

I was confused, but slightly intrigued. I finally decided that it would be in my best interest to go. Whether it be for intel, recon or combat, I figured it would benefit me. Obviously I came prepared; I had my silenced Colt 45, along with my hidden blade.

I arrived to the parkway 1 hour early. The place was dead; no wind no animals no nothing. The moon was full that night, It covered everything with a blue-ish grey hue. At 11:55 I saw a woman apraoch the bench, wearing blue jeans and a light jacket, with her hair in a ponytail. I moved towards her. When she saw me she stood up immediately, there was a sudden breeze, which blew her hair, she looked beautiful that night.

-What is it you want. I asked in a quiet voice

She looked directly at me, emotionless. Was she thinking of a lie, was she preparing herself mentally for a fight.

-Anser mine first, I was about to kill you, I could have killed you when you leaned in, why did you kiss me?

I slowly started to approach her, one small step at a time, as i walked over the cold grey pavement.

- The answer is simple, you looked beautiful. Your eyes, the way your hair flowed with each movement you made, how close we got in combat and your lips. The bold crimson lipstick you wore and your eyes had me entranced.

Her eyes quickly broke eye contact as she looked at the ground, she blushed. At this point i was nearly a foot away from her. I reluctantly extended my hand out to her, she extended her hand and mine embraced her's.

-We can't do this.. she said as she inched towards me.

I felt my heart racing,

-As long as we remain in this moment, we can be together, for a short while. I said in a reassuring voice as i pulled her to me.

I placed my hands on her waist, we shared a passionate kiss, knowing this may be the last time we will be able to do something like this, knowing our jobs. I kissed her neck, she push into me. I pulled my head away, and looked into her eyes. I place my hand on her rosy cheek, and kissed her again.

-You're right. We can't do this forever. I said

she looked back up to me, a tear left her eye, with my hand i brished it away.

-Don't cry, The last thing i want is to see those beautiful eyes shed any tears.

I put my arms around her and held tight, she buried her head in my shoulder. We stayed like that for a while, perfectly content in eachother's arms. I looked up to the moon wishing this night could last forever.

As the sun rose and the morning doves began to sing, we parted ways. It's been 3 weeks since that day and I have still yet to see her since. I received a voice mail, similar to the first one she sent me, asking to meet at the park way at the next full moon...
