Lying low in the grass on my belly watching my prey grazing with its herd. it seemed that there would be plenty of food this season for the pack. *crack* the herd of deer scatters.. shit!!! i raise my head into the air scenting the wind for what ruined my hunt... no it cant be!! all of a sudden i smell peppermint and chocolate and a rogue smell its so intoxicating my wolf Kara whimpers "mate" "no Kara we cant im sorry our pack needs me more than a mate does" i say sadly i run towards the scent and see a big red wolf "Mate" Kara yells, i block her out and quickly shift behind a tree where my clothes were and i call out to the wolf "Shift Now" i say in my Luna voice. i feel the pull of his scent as he shifts i come out from behind the tree seeing him having pulled shorts on.. god he looks like a Greek god, my eyes travel up from his strong well muscled legs to his rock hard 6-pack abs up his chest which is dusted with a sprinkle of hair to a hard chin soft looking lips to the most electric green eyes.. "are you finished eye raping me Mate" his deep smooth voice says sending shivers down my spine. "i wasn't eye raping you and lets get this over with.. I, Shanique Mallow reject you as my mate" i say harshly before walking away before he could say a word I quickly shift into my wolf and start running and call out to my beta 'Katie we need to call an immediate pack meeting get everyone to the pack house hall NOW" "Luna I'm here what's wrong you don't sound happy is there a problem with the hunt?" Katie says worriedly. "Katie do as I say everything will be explained at the meeting now go" i growl through the mind link using my Luna voice..

i smell the deer before i see them there's plenty of them in this herd iv never seen so much food in one area before. i was wondering whose territory i was in right before my wolf starts growling in the background i raise my head in the air sniffing for what has gotten my wolf antsy then it hits me the smell of strawberries and cream "MATE" my wolf barks i start to run forward forgetting about the herd ahead of me running towards the smell of my mate *snap* damn i stand on a twig spooking the herd i stop and look around the scent of my mate is all around this field then all of a sudden i see a black wolf running towards me with amazing blue eyes which have me captivated she disappears behind a tree i hear her shift and yell out "Shift Now" in a strong Luna voice i quickly shift and grab the shorts tied to my leg i stand there waiting for her to come out.
i stand there shocked to see this beautiful creature come out from behind the tree i watch her eyes as she checks me out slowly "Mate" my wolf says trying to push forward in my mind trying to take over i push him back " Wolfric back down ill claim her shortly" i say with force. once her eyes reach my face "Are you finished eye raping me Mate" i say with a smirk on my face. " i wasn't eye raping you and let get this over with" she say with her sad face. i stand here wondering what shes on about as she opens her pretty rose coloured lips and says " I, Shanique Mallow reject you as my mate" and she runs off before i can say anything "shanique, mate" my wolf whimpers in pain.. I'm shocked i wasn't expecting that to come out of her mouth then i feel rage how dare she reject me like that i start after her down wind so she cant smell that I'm following her i wonder were she is going in such a hurry.. ill make her accept me if its the last thing i do.

Kara wimpers to me "how could you, why would you do that to our mate we need him" i whisper softly to her " Kara please i know its hard but our pack comes first we cant leave them you know that any day the rogues could be waiting to take us, we are the only all female pack that we know of we would be leaving them weak without a Luna to protect them" i race through the woods thinking of his face the pain that flashed through his eyes when i rejected him it was the hardest thing i could of done i hope i have done the right thing.. i see the pack house ahead of me i quickly shift and find the laundry box by the side of the house with fresh clothes, and change quickly before going in.
