Have you ever had the feeling of being watched, and then thinking you're just being paranoid, it's probably nothing. Well that's what I felt but it turned out to be something well actually someone. It all started on a Thursday night as I was leaving from work, I was the last to leave I had locked up for Tom my manager he had something to take care of, anyways as I was heading home I felt the presence of somebody, like they were watching me, I don't know maybe I was just being paranoid after all I'm a female walking home alone on a Thursday night, well technically its Friday for the clock had just struck midnight. I felt very uneasy and scared I begin walking faster. I did live a mile down the road. I started calculating the amount of time it would take me to arrive home, I can run a mile in a little over 5 minutes so I should be home in no time. My thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a pair of arms grabbing me one hand went around my mouth, and the other upon my waist whomever it was I couldn't see. I tried struggling out of his grip, much to my dismay it didn't seem to work for he was a lot stronger then I. Suddenly he spoke.

"What's a girl like you doing out at a time like this?" the man spoke in a low voice.

That voice I recognize it.

"Dang it Lucius Gabriel Michaels was that necessary you scared the living daylights out of me!" I bellowed.

"Chill Lizzie I was just messing with-" Lucius laughed.

"I didn't think it was funny, I nearly had a heart attack." I interrupted as I had my hand over my heart "What in the world are you doing here?"

"I knew you got off late, I was on my way to pick you up, didn't want you walking alone at this time at night. I don't know why you don't ask me for a ride to begin with its dangerous out here."

"I didn't want to bother you, and I don't mind walking" I replied to my best friend.

"Oh come on its not a bother and you know it. I just want you safe that's all that matters so for now on in I'll be giving you a ride whether you like it or not.

"Yeah, okay fine."

"Now that's settled let's go my car is over here." He pointed to where his car was.

"Alright."

As we were walking to his car I then suddenly felt that feeling of eyes on me once more. I started looking around searching for another person on the streets but found nobody but Lucy and I.

"What's wrong Lizzie?" questioned Lucius

"Nothing I'm fine its nothing."

"It doesn't look like nothing; you look very uneasy. What is it?"

With a sigh "I don't know, I just have this bad feeling like I'm being watched."

"How long have you felt like this?"

"Well..." I started as I began thinking. "For about the past month. I just, didn't feel it as strongly as I've had this week. I'm freaking out Lucy I shrugged it off as nothing at first but now I can't sleep, or leave my apartment without being on edge I just don't know what to do." I sniveled

"It's okay Lizzie, I'm here I got you" He declared as he brought me into a hug making me feel a lot safer. "I won't let anybody hurt you as long as I'm alive, now let's get you into the car". Lucy stated. He opened the passenger door for me and closed it then started walking to the other side of the car. I suddenly heard a bang.

"Dang it Lucy did you fall over again" I said with a laugh as I was getting out the car "Gosh I swear your so..." I froze, in front of me was my best friend covered in his own blood.

"Lucy. "I cried "Lucius stay awake, please stay with me" I pleaded loudly as I kneeled down in front of him

"I'm sorry" he uttered in a weak voice as the life left his eyes

"No. no. please Lucy please come back." I held him in my arms crying, then I felt a sharp pain in the back of my head and everything went black.
