"Aga mo, huh?" Naglalakad ako papunta sa room nang sumulpot si Rizza at inakbayan ako.

Ngumiti ako sa kanya habang patuloy kami sa paglalakad and take note, nakaakbay pa rin siya sa akin. Oh dear, she's taller than me, "Nalate ako ng gising"

"Is that so?" aniya at napatango-tango, "Aren't you going to greet me a happy birthday?"

Natigilan ako at nahiya, "Is your birthday today? I'm sorry, h-hindi ko alam. Happy birthday!"

She smiled back, "Thanks! You know I am really happy and excited! Like oh my god! Imagine Luke and I having a romantic date? Too much butterflies in my stomach!" tinakpan niya pa ang bibig niya at tumili.

"Sinasabi ko na nga ba... Tama talaga hinala ko. He likes me kaya siya pumayag makipagdate" she added

"Ah ngayon pala date niyo ni Luke.. You guys enjoy, aryt? Have a blast!" Huminto na ako sa paglalakad at tinuro ang door, nasa tapat na kasi ako ng room namin, "Dito na ako.. Take care, Rizza! Happy birthday ulit!"

She nodded and tapped my shoulders before walking again. She looks happy. Good for her. Napabuntong-hininga ako at napapikit bago pumasok ng room.

Kumunot ang noo ko dahil nakatayo sina Chikito sa taas ng lockers namin. They're putting red cartolinas on our walls and I don't have any idea why.

My other classmates are putting red cartolinas on our walls, too. Yung iba naman nagcucut ng mga masking tapes and then dinidikit nila sa wall. Maingay ang room. Bukod sa mga ingay nila, rinig na rinig ang music na nanggagaling sa laptop ni... ewan. I don't know whose laptop is that. May speakers din.

Kumakabog yung room namin wtf.

"What are you guys doing?" tanong ko kay Daniel sabay lapag ng bag ko sa isang upuan.

"Decorating for buwan ng wika." he answered. Nakatingin siya sa paper na hawak niya.

"Kelan ba yun?" Nakakaamaze naman, I never thought na magdedecorate talaga kami para doon. Kilala ko kasi mga to eh, they're bunch of lazy creatures. Well, I am one of those 'lazy creatures' pfft.

"Today. 2pm ang judging."

My eyes widened, "What? Mamaya na pala bakit ngayon lang tayo nagdedecorate?" We should've started decorating yesterday! Kaya pala busy na yung ibang sections simula kahapon!

I suddenly felt someone's arm on my shoulders, gahd, bakit ang hilig mang-akbay ng mga tao?

"Champions love doing things in a rush, baby."

I rolled my eyes at Michael but he just laughed.

"So what are we going to do?" tanong ko while roaming my eyes around the room.

"As you can see, we are going to make it cool and simple. Our walls should look like brick walls and we're going to use carpets for the floor." Daniel explained

Nagets ko naman kaagad. Kaya pala nagdidikit sila ng red cartolinas sa walls. Then masking tapes for it to look like brick walls. Hindi ko pa gaanong naaappreciate because we're not yet done so we need to work work work!

"Okay leeeez work!" I stretched my arms and was about to help my other classmates when Daniel called my name. Nilingon ko siya, "bakeeeet?"

"Malapit na maubos yung materials, bumili muna kayo ni Luke sa labas ng school." utos niya

"okay?" napatango ako, "where's luke?" I asked

"There."

Nakita ko si Luke na nakaupo lang sa chair with his eyes closed. He's sleeping!
