"Nah, save it. We're through. Just go back to sucking that guys face, bitch." And with that I walked to the couch Laura sat on.

"So? What happened back there?" She asked concernedly.

"Broke up with my girlfriend," I said after sitting, taking a sip of vodka and getting used to the burnt feeling in my throat.

"O-oh.. Are you okay with that?" She asked.

"Eh, it happens all the time. Don't worry about it. I'm used to it," I said with a shrug.

"If I may ask, why did you break up?" She asked, with a weak side smile.

"Caught her cheating on me, this is like the fifth time I get cheated on, it's nothing really.." I lied playing with the plastic cup filled with vodka.

"So, you wanna make out?" I heard from Laura as dizziness formed.

"Mmm, yeah.." I said, leaning in.

"Um Ross! What are you doing?" Laura asked backing away.

"You said-"

"I said wanna walk out, it's crowded here and some people already passed out.." She said with a chuckle.

I smiled sheepishly, "Oh. Er, yeah. Okay," I stuttered awkwardly.

What's wrong with me? Am I actually stuttering or just drunk? I never really stutter. I always know what to say.

I walked outside with Laura following behind me.

Looking back at her, I pay attention to what she's wearing.

A dark purple dress which hugged her body perfectly and black flats. What an innocent hottie.

"You look beautifully hot," I said, nudging her while walking by the sidewalk.

"Beautifully hot, huh?" She repeated with a blush looking down.

"You have a face of a cute baby, and a body of a hot lady," I said with a chuckle.

"That rhymes," she said with a giggle.

"Your giggles are too cute," I flirt. Well, I'm Ross, known as the girl crazy guy. How can I not flirt?

But at the same time, I'm drunk. Words come out without thinking.

"Aw, stop," she said blushing, playfully hitting my arm.

"What type of guy do you like?" I asked curiously, not able to have control with the words I say.

"Well, a guy who can make me smile when I'm frowning, or laugh when I'm crying, or a guy who would just make me happy anyway." She said with a shrug.

"Why would you be crying or frowning? Your always so smiley.." I ask.

She looks down. And for the first time ever, she frowns.

"I-I've had a rough past.." She said, taking a deep breath and forcing a smile back.

"Oh.." Was all I managed to say.

"And, turn!" She said, changing back to the Laura I talked to 5 minutes ago.

We turned around and walked back towards Calum's house talking about our favorite bands and me stuttering awkwardly sometimes.

But, we never mentioned the thing that made Laura frown.

What happened to her past? Did someone hurt her feelings or did her parents abuse her or did she get bullied?

Curiosity formed more and more, but I knew I was going to regret asking her what happened.

Sigh, another day I guess..

We arrive at Calum's house. My legs feeling like jello and me feeling sore.

"Oh, it's almost 11. I gotta go. It was great meeting you and getting to know you," she said with a smile as she almost turned.

I pulled her arms and pulled her to my chest for a hug. She hugged me back after a second.

"It was honestly amazing meeting you, Laura. I hope we can hang out again soon," I whispered to her ear and rested my head on her shoulder.

"Sure, Ross. I better get going.." She said as she pulled away.

With a smile, she left. I watched her walk till she disappeared from my view then sighed and walked to my house.
