The women hurried along an old cobbled path.The velvet,sky didn't help their sight at all.The road was poorly lit as the broken lamp posts that hadn't been fixed for years.One of the women stumbled an got up again.They were heading towards an old ,battered cottage that belonged to an elderly man.Three quick raps on the door and a man who looked like he came from the Stone Age opened the door.His eyes were grey and he had wrinkly skin.Inside the house,the furniture was all piled up in a corner.
"Hey!!What's going on??"The bony one of the women,Rita,asked in dismay.
"Am packing things up m'lady.Didn't expect ya to come'dat early,ma'm!! " The man replied in a stressed tone.
"The time was supposed to be at midnight,we're quarter and an hour late 'AND YOU STILL NOT READY?"the other women's-whose name was Cissy-voice shook the house.
A while later,the old man spoke once more time,clearly startled "Am done,Ma'ms what da ya want?"the man turning to the women.
"Have you heard the news?"Cissy asked with a serious expression on her face.
"News?"the old man clearly didn't know anything about the news.
"The best"Cissy grinned when she told the old man.
"The worst"Rita added,her face full of concern.
"What d'ya mean?"the old man wanted to know what they were talking about right then and there.
The two women looked at each other and Rita then nodded at Cissy.
"What do you know abou the legend of The Blue Crowned Phoenix?" Cissy questioned the old man.
"Everythin',unless ya'nt remember I was there when ma'm Halley gave the prophecy!" In a way the old man was clearly angry from what he thought was an insult to his knowledge.
"Well, I wasn't trying to make you angry but you must also know that today is the day of the Blue Crowned Phoenix's arrival.You must also know that legend of the Phoenix says that the Phoenix has the most amazing and powerfull power in the whole universe below heaven.It vanished with it though.Legend says that on the day of the Phoenix star pass,fly over the skies,and the baby born on that day and moment will hold the power of the Blue Crowned Poenix...."Cissy reminded the old man as his eyes widened and she knew that he had figured out the meaning of the two women meeting with him.
".....And a baby was bornt'day,just like the one of the legend...." continued the old man,his gaze was far away."Who is she?"
"Olivia Anne Alisteen." Rita spoke, her voice a bit shaky.
The man looked a bit surprised at first, but finally, he said, "OUT! Out 'f me peaceful house! Don't 'want any rumours 'ere! Never come back EVER AGAIN!"
Rita & Cissy were taken aback. They expected the old man to be happy to receive this piece of news. They took one last look of the house and left.
"It's your entire fault, Cissy! You said something wrong, I bet," accused Rita.
"No, I didn't! It was YOU! You were the one who planned to tell the old man about the news!"
"Fine! It's OUR fault, happy?"
"Ugh! We have to tell Olivia's parents about her extraordinary gift, she'll have to be trained to control her power, you know."
There were a few minutes of silence till Rita spoke up.
"We need their address. By the way, the old man's a wizard, supposed to be a wise one. Why's he so grouchy?"
"No idea about the man, maybe he's lost his mind. Probably of old age, huh? I've got the Alisteen family address, wait... Lemme find it." Cissy rummaged her enormous handbag till she found a tiny sheet of paper. On it was the address of the blessed family.
