As I was speeding on the highway...I heard multiple police sirens coming in the distance.

I felt completely broken because of Iris's death. I felt as if I had a dark side to my powers. When I finally arrived at Brad's house, I jumped out of the vehicle and ran into the house. "Where have you been?We've..." Toby froze when he saw the look on my face. "Iris didn't make it" Everyone looked at me with their eyes wide open. I began crying..."Are you okay?" Anna said as a tear rolled down from her cheeck. "No time to talk, get the things, we have to go, the police are after us" I said, wiping the tear from my face. "Why are the police after us...what did you do?" Everyone asked me, but I had no time to explain. "Come on!" I screamed loudly. We took everything we needed and left the house. "I'm coming too" Brad exclaimed. "Fine, hurry!" I told them. We burst through the front door and ran to the vehicle. As we were running, I noticed the exact same black mustang, but I had no time to investigate. "Go!" Toby screamed as I cautiously drove off.

The police vehicles arrived and violently invaded Brad's house, and searched for clues about us. "I'm sorry I dragged you into this" Toby looked at Brad. We drove for hours to find a safe place to hide.

We searched for a safe place to hide, and found an abandoned building close to Brad's house. We parked the SUV inside the building and closed all of the doors. "I killed one of the guards" I said loudly as we all sat down on the remaining boxes that was inside the building. Every move we made in the building echoed...we definitely needed to stay quiet. "Is it because of Iris?" Toby asked me as he looked down at his fingers. "When I heard that she died, I couldn't handle all of the regret that I had" I replied to him, causing my voice to shake. "My mom is probably heartbroken, I just can't believe it" Anna commented. We stayed up until midnight to see if we were safe, "Get those boxes" Brad exclaimed. We collected all of the boxes and climbed inside to stay warm. Brad and Toby climbed in one, and Anna and I climbed in a separate box. It was extremely cold that night, and it seemed to be even colder because crumbling building we were in.

"I'm still cold" Brad whispered to Toby from their box. Toby slowly leaned in and hugged Brad...the waves in Toby's body miraculously glowed, and it immediately heated up..."That's cool" Brad whispered back at Toby..."I'm kind of getting the hang of it" Toby replied to him and smiled. Over in our little box, I looked over to Anna and smirked at her, "Everything's going to be fine" I whispered to her. "I know it is, as long as I have you" She said back to me. It felt good to know that I had someone to lean on.

When it was early morning, I woke up to see that Anna wasn't in the box beside me. I got out of the box and saw Anna sitting in the centre of the building. Purple waves were floating around her body, it was an extremely amazing thing to see. Her eyes were closed and her body was shaking, part of it disappearing at times. I walked in over to Toby's box and woke them up. "Get up" I whispered, while putting my attention on Anna. The two boys got up from their seemingly comfortable box and looked at Anna. "Whoa" Toby said, still tired. We walked near...

--BANG--

A huge wave of energy went through the building, causing Toby, Brad and I to fall down onto the floor. "Sorry!, I tried to make it work" Anna exclaimed loudly at us. We looked at each other..."Cool!" We laughed out loud.

We were amazed with this new abilities that we had. It was like we were chosen for something far more greater than we had known - now that we were fugitives, we had to be extremely careful with how we tended to reveal ourselves in the City.

We made some decisions and decided to send Brad and Anna into the city....

"So we get some booze and junk food, right?" Brad said to Anna while they were walking on a broad sidewalk. "Sure, I think we need that right now!" Anna replied while pushing her hoodie up further to cover her face. They were wearing dark glasses to cover up the marks on their faces. While they were walking, Brad noticed a liquor shop on the opposite side of the road they were walking on. He then dragged Anna over the road and into the liquor shop...."Oh!, we're definitely getting this one." Brad whispered as he pointed to a bottle of wine. "It's $500" Anna whispered back at Brad...but he seemed to have everything covered. He took out his wallet and a shiny silver American Express exited the wallet.

The two of them walked to the counter and paid for the wine. "Next...FOOD" Anna said excitedly as they ran out of the store. Time slowed down for Brad and Anna...when they were done at McDonald's it was almost close to midnight.
