What did I expect?

Of course, what did I expect? That Nico would be standing there in a button up and khakis holding a rose? I mean I guess in the back of my mind that sounded kinda cute.

But I should've known he wouldn't show up, non less be holding a rose.

So I guess I didn't have a date, and I was fine with that. Well I convinced myself I was fine with that. I let drew put a dress and make up on me, even curl my hair just to dance alone? I have to admit that hurt.

"C'mon Bella, show time!" Drew laughs and grabs my hand. She looked beautiful. She did have a slutty dress on but I convinced her to wear rights.

Her dress had a short pale blue dress. Her black tights went well with the white flats that were a downgrade from the heels she wanted to wear.

Me? I had a knee length black puffy dress. I didn't feel like wearing heels or flats , so I wore my converse. But I think one girl stood out the most.

Piper. Her hair was it a fish tale braid and little stands fell out. She had a simple purple dress and ballet style shoes.

We all looked really good. We got to keep up Aphrodite's rep right? What better way then to pamper the whole camp?

~20 min later~

"Guys! The dance is starting!" Drew squeals. I smiles at her, people don't really get her. She was just trying to make her mother proud. And as I have been told, Aphrodite has never even met Drew. That has to suck. I mean she was one of the most girly girls I have ever seen. She plays an amazing role being the daughter of the goddess of love.

Piper met up with Jason, who had complemented Piper about five times. Drew didn't have a date from what I could tell. She was to busy making sure everything went perfectly. I just kinda stayed by the snack bar, making small talk with an Apollo girl. Paige I think was her name. Really cool girl.

~After The party~

I walked through the woods, a plain sword by my side and still in my dress. I wasn't very happy, I tried smiling but I couldn't. Nico didn't even make an appearance. Totally bailed on me. Bitch.

I walked until I heard a voice

"You look pretty, what's the accession?" I turned around to see Nico Di Angelo with a smile on his face.

"Oh we had a dance at camp tonight" I sounded mad "remember?" . His eyes widens and he rubs the back of his neck

"Was that tonight?" He was totally see through. He knew it was tonight.

"Yea, I just wanted to find you and thank you for blowing me off" I turned away from him and ran off toward camp and clenched my fist. Ugh!

I was being totally unfair. I mean what did I expect? Him to be their with a rose, telling me that he was sorry?

I guess I should Stop day dreaming and realize that maybe I'm not happy with the relationship I'm in....
