Ronnie
With my heart in my throat, I ran through the woods. My feet were sore and my arm was cut. Blood rushed out of my wound. I have to lose them. I saw a stream and water splashed up my legs as I ran in the stream. ‘’Help, please help!!!” I screamed knowing it was useless. The moon’s light was the only light to guide me out. I heard the police running behind me. They were behind me now and some of them were next to me. I jumped out of the stream. Violet was beside me, running like hell. ‘’Violet you must go! I can’t go any further!’’ Violet screamed back. ‘’No I’m not leaving you!’’ ‘’You have to go get help! Please go.’’ Violet looked at me with her blue eyes which was full of tears. ‘’I won’t forget you. I’ll go find help.” Violet jumped up a tree and ran for her life looking back every second that passed. I fell down on the grass. A guy kneeled down over me. On his name tag stood his name. Zayn Malik. I looked into his eyes. “Please don’t hurt me.” ” I won’t.” A man came over to the one by me. “Where is her friend?” I came up. “You can try but you can’t catch her. She’s like soap…” A smile played on my lips. They looked at me confused. I looked at them. “She’s a genius. If she catches you in her web … there is no place out.” “How do you know her?” ”She’s my best friend.” I didn’t tell them that her weak point was loyalty. I didn’t tell them that she would do anything for the people close to her. I didn’t tell them that we always had a plan b …

I looked down from the tree I was sitting in. Ronnie was smart. She was friendly but smart. She told them it would be useless to search for me but she was smart and did not help them. I did not want to leave her there but had no choice. I knew why they needed us. We had information that everyone would kill for…
Zayn
I looked at her. None of us knew her name but she was beautiful. I stared at her eyes. Her eyes were green with her light brown hair. Her voice was soft and gentle and a little teasing. She looked around but I would see the scared look in her eyes. She suddenly looked up to the trees and smiled. Then a tear rolled down her cheek. She jumped up and tried to run. That’s when a girl jumped down from the trees and screamed at the top of her lungs. “Run Ronnie. GO!!!!” They looked each other in the eyes. The green eyed one mouthed thank you. Then she disappeared into the woods. “Okay people I’ll cooperate if you don’t follow her.” She looked everyone in the eye.

I did not know what I was doing but I could not watch as they try to crumble Ronnie. I took in a deep breath. Everyone looked at me and I knew that all of them could see that I cared about Ronnie. My teacher used to tell me there is no stronger bond than friendship. I now knew it was true. “But I’m not going to lie on the ground like a dog.” One of them walked towards me. “Zayn makes sure this one doesn’t get away. Zayn walked towards me and handcuffed me. We walked to the end of the wood and I could hear police sirens. I climbed into the car and sat there. I smiled and thought back when me and Ronnie were little we used to say in the name of friendship. I laughed silently.

I limped out of the woods. I saw a barn and went towards it. “Is anybody there? I need help!” I felt sore all over. I heard a guy yelling back. “Who’s there?” “It’s Ronnie, I need a doctor please!” I heard someone running my way. He came out the barn. “Oh my soul, what happened? Never mind…” He picked me up and ran towards the house. “Niall, get the first aid kit quick.” Another guy came rushing down the stairs. He sat me down and wrapped my arm in band aids. “Ouch.” They were talking over each other. “Where did you find her?” ”I found her in the fields.” He sat ice on my feet after he sat me on the sofa. I fell asleep grateful for having a friend like Violet. I wonder what she is doing now.
